HAPPY PINONEER DAY!!

So I tried to call a company tht is in Utah. Well, there was a message that they were closed to observe the Utah state holiday. Pioneer Day lol Any other weird holidays I don't know about? Any why am I working on Pioneer Day since they aren't

Never heard of it. It's not a holiday unless it's on my Chick-Fil-a Cows in shining armor calender.

Apparently, Pioneer Day is a Mormon holiday where they celebrate Morons...I mean Mormons...who were pioneers, such as Brigham Young. Only in Utah. :rolleyes:

My wife is one of those "Morons". Although not my religion, it has an interesting history. They celebrated Pioneer Days here yesterday. On a Sunday. When most businesses are closed. When most people are normally NOT working. Oh well, interesting religion and some of the nicest people I've ever met. They still believe every bit of the Bible and don't push their religion on others.

Then how do you explain the riding around on bicycles selling religion. I agree, the mormons I've known have been really nice, but I think think the LDS church is something of a cult. I apologize if I've opened a can of worms.

I wouldn't call it selling religion. That's what Jehovah's Witnesses do. Or at least last time I dealt with them. They want to give you a free handout if you'll pay the printing fees.
These kids riding bikes are intrusive to me but that's how they spread the word. I've asked so many to not come back for trying to preach to me or get me to convert its not even funny. The ones that I let stay get to eat dinner whenever they want and for the most part get to just hang out and take a break from the church.

That wont do anything.. since we all live nowhere near each other.. and it wont effect the economy or even our place of business (Unless you're atruhondagrl and you work at home :])
