I'm 21!

Well yesterday I turned 21 and naturally I had to celebrate. It was actually my first time drinking too haha. Anyways, just though I would share some pictures. It was alot of fun. We went to Cheeseburger in Paradise!

Happy Birthday! On my 21st B-day I went to five different bars, I don't remember the last two at all. I woke up the next morning in bed, pantless, with a couple small cuts on my back, my ring bent into my finger, and bits of vomit on my shirt. Apparently, at the fifth bar I went into (I was cutoff by this point) I was propped up against an unused bar at the back of the establishment, reached in my pocket for a quarter, and promptly fell on the ground. Later we went to IHOP after the bars and I vomited on my friend's leg. I was taken into the bathroom and one of my very, very good friends set me on the floor next to the toilet and left me there.... They came and got me shortly after and hauled my ass out of there before the cops in an adjacent booth did anything. All of this is what I'm TOLD happened, because I don't remember any of it. Then I got in the car and drove home... just kidding. My friends dropped me off at my house, one of my friends carrying me into my house over his shoulder like a sack o' potatoes. The next day, I was so tore up, my girlfriend had to bathe me. All in all, it was a good 21st b-day. I'm pretty sure I had alcohol poisoning and came closer to death than I ever wanted to be. My friends rule!

Congrats - glad you survived!! (mine was on the 19th) :)
Funny story about the drinking age thing ... the drinking age in Louisiana used to be 18 ... so when I turned 18 in '86 I was legal to drink, then in '87 La. joined the rest of the country and raised the drinking age to 21 ... so when I turned 21 I was legal to drink a 2nd time.

what gets old, drinking? I think it depends on who you are. If you're referring to getting trashed all the time, yeah, it gets old as you get old. I definitely don't drink as much as I did in college. I still drink, but I don't get tore up like I used to. But all that comes with age and life experiences. I still love the taste of a good whiskey though.

i did most of my heavy drinking when i was 15-17, 17-19 was my drug years, now I have a drink almost every night but I couldn't tell you the last time I actually drank and got drunk.

being 21 takes all the fun out of drinking cause your of legal age and you guy buy it anytime with out getting in trouble

couldn't agree anymore. I've noticed that when people party hard in high school they tend to calm down for college but when people wait until college things usually go downhill fast.

Happy 21st...that's really the last birthday to look forward to...i don't remember my 21st b-day but i had fun b/c of the fact that i could go and buy my own liquor instead of asking friends to get it for me...

congrats homey! I just turned 21 last month. I (sorta) remember that night. I was told that my drink list included 4 shots of Patron, an Adios MoFo, Red Bull and Vodka, a shot of Beautiful (it's got Hennesy and other stuff), and 2 pints of Guinness. I haven't yakked in 10 years, but I did the next morning cuz if I didn't I woulda felt crappy the whole day. My poor liver...

Meh, I didn't start drinking until college and I got out in four years with a 3.21 GPA. College will be the best years of your life, enjoy them. But be smart and realize that while there is time to party, there is more time necessary to work your ass off to succeed.

hmm, good point, yall don't know what i look like haha... I'm the one in the black shirt w/ the white under shirt. I'm in most of the pics.

And yes I had a designated driver decided ahead of time. I also drank my weight in water the whole day... and if i wasnt taking another shot i was drinking water. I had almost no hangover haha. All a hangover is, is dehydration so yea i kept myself hydrated. It was just so much fun lol
