Pics and Vids from the training deployment i went on. pretty cool!!!

Ok guys so I just got back home a couple of days ago from a 2 week training deployment to Maine. Its called an AT or Annual Training and the reservist have to do it each year to fulfill their 2 weeks a year part of that speech we all hear. "one weekend a month, 2 weeks a year". This simulates a deployment and makes the reservist and active duty personnel intergrate and work as if we were away from home (ie. iraq, afganastan, etc).

I got some cool random pics/vids i decided to post for you guys. I have a TON of these so i only posted a select few. so enjoy.

leaving newburgh, ny

relex shot when someone pointed out some planes coming back from a mission

when we aren't fixin airplanes we are doing something eles. this is marines training in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).

Some of th new model versions of the F-18s that i saw parked around.

heres some pics from the flight i jumped on while i was out there. we did a mid-air refueling mission for a heilo. the best part it they let the back ramp down as we did it.

my camera-
someone caught me as we stood around waiting for the heilo(left)

the Master Sgt taking some pics with his professional camera.
He and the load master where held in by a harness and a single strap that went into a hook in the floor of the plane.

shot from my camera out the window before they lowered the ramp and we could be outta our seats.

some from the master sgt before the ramp was opened.

after they lowered the ramp we all had to stay strapped in tight obviously (I'm in the middle)

some shots from the master sgt's camera when he was sitting on the edge of the ramp.

the loadmaster took some vids from my camera while he sat on the edge of the ramp.

caught a sunset with my camera after we landed back in Maine.

this was a bar that we went to. its called the cactus club and is like coyote ugly with the dancers on the bar.

this is a marine from my command that decided to get on the bar. there is a sign that says dance at your own risk. obviously he missed the silent 'preferably women' implication

this is a Marine of mine that got called up to the bar. i think someone set him up lol

random video panning around

First off, I guess you do not understand a bit of being a Marine. We are a small legitimate force of Death Ministers. The last thing Andrew needs to hear is that stuff you just said. He already knows it because he is a Marine. Since he is training it is almost known sooner or later he may be activated. Those words were encouragement for a countryman who is serving his country and because of him you and I have the freedom to write what you posted. Then again you may think the Constitution guarantees you those freedoms. let think again, the Constitution's guaranteed freedoms were and are paid for with the blood of our countrymen.

It may be an arbitrary war but this is what we signed up for: not to take a political stance on whether or not we would enter and set foot on the honorable field of battle but to do it and serve.

And what exactly do you mean get an education? Are you suggesting Marines have none? I have an Associates in General Education, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and a Masters in Business Administration.

I am not trying to bring you down as I respect your opinion, but you may want to know how to word your posts so it does not sound condescending. Recruit training will teach you just that.

Andrew stay strong and Semper Fi bro.

well my three friends were "grunts"... and the one that didnt die wishes he did every day.

ive never seen so much pain from all their families... i have no respect for the marines, I just respect for the poor souls. i believed in it when they all joined and tryed to convince me and every one of them sounded likt the other tool in here. now those charismatic pridefilled soldiers are dead or confused and aimeless.

worst thing ive ever witnessed. im glad i never joined and kept my options as open as possible and made use of the time while they were being trained to be "badass" and mindless order takers. now he doesnt know what to do cause no ones telling him.

its hard to watch a grown man cry, and i cant ask him to leave cause all he has is my friendship.

i hope this shit stops soon.

Andrew,

I would not even entertain the thought of responding to this comment. Stay positive and do not allow this negativity to enter your mind.

I thank you for your service to our country and know this: I am certainly here to help you so that if that were to befall you I will help you from a positive viewpoint and not from a negative one that certainly this Snap-On has.
