Hit it big, wouldnt put his kid through a moment of that if he didnt have to.

He probably understands that his kid is spoiled, but honestly, its a great feeling to give your kids things that you never dreamed of having. It's like re-living your youth, the way you wanted it to be, through your children. Sounds weird, but its true.
While I understand the line of thinking, there is one possible flaw. A man who has had to work hard for his material possessions knows all too well that his situation forced him to develop a damn good sense of responsibility, work ethic, discipline, etc etc. What is he trying to do, raise a Paris Hilton?

I went to college with a population of 98% rich kids and 2% merit scholars. I've met some big time rich spoiled brats, and met some rich but very responsible ones as well. It's all about parenting.

to teach his punkass a lesson.. i would buy him an R8 like from Iron Man.. except i would have the engine taken out and not tell him about it. then when he goes to start the car.. the fun begins

then i'd make him save up and pay for a car himself
