damn spoiled kid....my dad got me my civic when i was 18 as my first car, it was an Lxi with those plastic caps and i STILL was soooooooo happy and excited !!!!!!!!

Yes, the kid is an asshole, but I honestly blame the parents. How could you raise kids like that? Was the dad treated like that as well during his youth?

Damn.

Even if my parents were filthy rich, I'd be perfectly happy with a used car at 17, as long as it looks decent and well maintained. Hell, I'd be happy with the '93 civic hatch I had a few years ago

Opposite probably. Dad worked his ass off. Didnt have anything when he was a kid.

Hit it big, wouldnt put his kid through a moment of that if he didnt have to.

He probably understands that his kid is spoiled, but honestly, its a great feeling to give your kids things that you never dreamed of having. It's like re-living your youth, the way you wanted it to be, through your children. Sounds weird, but its true.
