Had an awsome day!

So, a few days ago my friends from Jersey asked if I wanted to go to a classic rock festival in Ojai (a little hippie town about 30 miles from where I live)...I mulled it over and decided to go...

This show was f'n awsome! We saw cover bands for: Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Marley, The Dead, etc....these bands were amazing! I mean they souded like the real thing...and the Joplin singer: Holy Crap! she was amazing...she sounded exactly like Janis...

On top of the above the whole show was awsome...everyone there was cool as hell, hippies slingen their wares....wow

I just had to share...I don't get out enough

Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend!

June 95? or 96...hmm can't recall exactly which year, but sounds like the grateful dead show I went to when I was in high school. I'm by no means a hippie but I think I might've been in a past life. I had an amazing time down in Philly cruising the parking lots full of hippies. what a crazy night...:flashback: I remember walking into a circle of people pass a joint around and when I got close enough I realized my Math teacher and Social Studies teacher were in the circle. that was great.

Sweet! Me and my friends from HS used to go to a bunch of shows like that around OH. People from NE Ohio prob have heard of Nelsons Ledges, we used to hit that place up a few times during the summer armed with a big tank of NO2 and sell punching bag balloons for $5. We made a killing and just had a real great time surrounded by people old and young that were just out to have a good time, no drama, no fights, everyone got along great.
I never was into the hard drugs but damn you name it and you could find it.
