Well after a recent fighting break up i started to wonder if i've ever technically won an argument with a woman. I have been right more times than i can count but never seem to win due to:
1. stubborness, never giving up 2. crying to make me feel bad 3. saying, "thats what i've been saying this whole time!" 4. giving me the silent treatment 5. changing what i say around and flipping it back at me 6. remembering something that i said months ago 7. changing the subject 8. guilt So i normally just give up after i get bored and say, your right. but there has to be a way us men can start winning these things! ideas? |

I just ignore them if they seem to think they are right when it is obvious they are not.
Girl: "No, that's not it!" Me: "Ok" *walk away* she'll follow you and insist she is right, just ignore them and they'll finally go away or realize that you were right.

i win arguments all the time... but it all depends on how you started the relationship. if you were a 'pushover' and just said 'yes dear' to anything and everything, just so you could get in her pants, in the beginning then the woman gets the idea that she can 'control' you...
... but if youre 100% straight up no BS with her from the get-go, she wont think she can manipulate you. the key is stopping the problem before it starts Last edited by Phalanx; 06-30-2008 at 02:56 PM. |

Hmm I guess it depends on how effectively you can argue your point. I never lose an arguement that I am right about. If I'm in the wrong I will apologize and make it up. I guess its all a matter of someone's maturity. If your girlfriends/spouse etc. argues whenever she knows she is wrong it's immaturity. Bringing up things said months ago is furthermore showing their stubborness to admit fault. It can be really frustrating but the best advice I can give is know if you're wrong and admit it. If you're not calmly explain why she is wrong, if she doesnt listen come back to the conversation later on that day when she's calmed down. Lastly if its questionable or if could be both at fault try to work it out as if both at fault.
But if she still wont let up and knows its her fualt PIIHB

some of you guys seem to let women 'get to you' too much... gotta learn how to keep them in check by knocking them down a peg or two (when they deserve it, of course) |
