Trouble training my dog

one of my yorkshire terriers doesn't "get it" lol

he's 1 years old right now and all he knows is sit, and down!
i've been trying to teach him "paw" gimmie 5 ya know :) for the past 4 weeks and he just doesn't want to do it. lazy?

how can i get him motivated?

lol hold his snack in ure hand let him know u got food and then tell him what to do may be this will work
