Im telling you all, its just a matter of time before we launch surgical strikes against Irans nuclear plants and facilities...
Be prepared for it... Gas prices will soar, Iran will close its oil channels and we here in the states will suffer... Bush will not allow Iran to influence that region with a nuclear curtain... Wont happen, he's made that promise to Israel... Mark my words... |

This from a posted response to the article:
"I would like to know what kind of country we live in where our so called President does not worry about the issues we are facing in this country. It’s not bad enough thousands have lost their homes, gas is at an all time high, teachers are losing their jobs, everyday thousands are layed off, the coutry’s deficit will take years to fix…yet here we go again with the same story we heard 6 years ago, let’s just throw millions (or billions )into another war. What will a war with Iran accomplish, except for more dead American soldiers(in most cases kids). When will someone either in government or even the American people step up and say “Enough”. In other countries people protest when they are not heard, here it seems like we take whatever they throw at us and we say”OK”. Whatever happened to the United States of America I lived in “pre Bush”." |

Seriously, i just dont understand why the Bush administration cant acknowledge our own problems with the tremendous national deficit that they have racked up since 2000.
Why wont they just take a step back from the war and start to really focus on problems we have hear at home instead of blowing millions or billions in iran Sorry to say it guys, but i dont forsee Obama or McCain helping this country get back on its feet. Ill be sitting at home all day on election day. Last edited by liquidr1; 06-29-2008 at 10:36 PM. |

If the US ever atacks Iran it will open up a religious war that the US will lose.
Currently the US is a teetering much closer than they realize to open a much larger war, because the local Afghans and Iraqis are being convinced daily that the motive of the US is to eradicate Islam. It doesn't matter what the reality is, that is the perception that AQ and the TB are telling the locals, and they are winning. They then use the Abu Gharib-type photos as proof. If the US attacks Iran, it will be spun that it doesn't matter if you are Sunni or Shia, the US will eventually kill you if you don't unite and do everything you can to stop it. |
