Sadly, I don't agree with most of the posters in this topic.

I think she's not interested or barely interested. Women are in a relentless desire for a real man. A bold, confident, ambitious man, who knows what he wants out of life and knows how to get it. Who has set personal goals in his life and knows how to achieve them.

Why are you interested in lengthy online conversations about school and life in general? You should be out stemming on your old self-dependence, climbing mountains, and declaring yourself as an individual, through work, study, or otherwise. What does it say about you when you have time for these lengthy online conversations?

Sorry to say it bud, but would YOU ask a girl that YOU like if she thinks some other guy is cute and offer to get his number for her? Jeez, I think that'd be even harder if I WERE shy. I'd say it to a female friend that I have zero interest in. Easily. But to be interested and ask her to look into the field. That's crazy talk.

Now, I'll give you some benefit. Maybe she IS shy and maybe she IS testing you. Even though logic shows us otherwise. How ultra bold and confident would you look to ask her on a date? To pull her in and kiss her? I think one of the biggest things guys have is that they have a sick fear or rejection. Rather than fear it, embrace it. Opportunity knocks, why the hell are you waiting for her to make the first move?

The way I see it, this accomplishes two goals. One it'll tell you if she really likes you or not. Two, it tells you if she's worth wasting your time on.

these lengthy convos over online need to stop. You need to show that you are a man and not a chump - tell her that you have a few minutes to chat because your busy doing something (something that improves YOUR life and/or career). You want to make it as if YOUR the prize, not her. By having these 2-3 hour chats, your telling her 'Hey! i'm boring and have nothing to do but to talk non-sense!'

You have to make yourself less available and that is how she'll start coming after you. Put the power in your hands - not theirs. Women are flaky and inconsistent, that is why you need to take control and show them your not gonna take their $h!t. They'll respect you more like that than having you at their beck and call (you know waiting around for their phone call because they said "I'll call you back" - no, no, and NO. No women is going to initiate a date - they want you to do it. They have this ego thing.) But as a guy, you shouldn't have an ego, you should don't get deterred by her games. She's testing you to see how you react, like a man or a wuss. Always take the high road and never show that you're frustrated - that just shows she has the power over your feelings (and no man lets a woman do that).
