yup, two 56 degree curves.

I only have 8 lumbar screws though (not one through every vertebre like the pic), a rod on either side of my spine, and hooks through my upper vertebre.

ouch.

I never took a day of PT. I refused it. I decided that I'd 'go for a walk' on my 4th day in the hospital. I was told I'd be in for 3 weeks, I was released on the 8th day.

From there i was supposed to be on bedrest for a month, followed by PT. I decided I'd much rather try to walk around the house holding myself up against the walls.

Now I only walk with a really tiny limp (I'm still convinced that I'm the only one that sees it).

^ Great stories everyone. Well...unfortunetly I'm having another crappy day at work but...

One thing I can think off....I am proud that I am 21 years old, still going to school, still working and paying for my own stuff. Most of my childhood friends are either in jail, selling drugs, have more kids than they could handle, etc...I'm proud for being who I am and for the friends I've had/have.
