McCain WWIII would justify a draft =[

Check it:

McCain: World War III Would Justify Draft - Politics on The Huffington Post

Also a quote from Carlos Mencia (comedian) about McCain:

"So let me get this straight, you want to vote for a guy who served in a war we lost and then got caught?"

And a famous quote which would do quite nicely here...

"I dont know what World War 3 will be fought with, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones..."

Im not a fan of wars, lots of innocent lives are lost, but if my country called on me to fight for our freedom, then so be it...

If it's a war that threatens us as Americans, I'd do it. However, if it's something over bullshit just like Iraq; I want no part in it.

I agree, about the having no part in an unjust or unnecessary war... But, if they called me up and said okay your fighting, to say no to me is like committing treason... Just imagine if it were that easy and all of a sudden all of our armed forces said "okay, this war is unjust, lets go home..." how bad that would be...

Disclaimer: Im not trying to pick a fight or nothing, just stating how i feel... All in all im proud of my country, and would prefer to live nowhere else but right here... We arent perfect, but who is?

To each their own. :)

Exactly. Right now I wish I could get into the air force, but unfortunately they don't take prior service. I wish I could be in the Marines or Army, but the wife doesn't want me to and I wouldn't want to be stationed in different places. I guess it's different for different people. Some want in and some don't want anything to do with it.

Still, McCain>Obama

Ok....I think you are not reading the post correctly or im not getting thru to you....

For example: I was born in a country that no matter what you become their property. You are sent to the military and you get stationed in other countries. Your fighting weather you like it or not.

You didnt aswer the second question.....Are you 16? If so you are of age were im from. And no you cant just pick up and leave the country specially if you are about to serve.

I understand that in your country, its mandatory. My question was Why u think we should be subject to that also.

I did answer, in THIS country, I'm not eligible.

Ahh ok well.........

I see many of you just complining about wars. Wherther is bs or not you really have to see the whole picture. Time have changed but not the wars. Some poeple enyoy severving and some dont. I understand but it is what it is.

A few on this board just talk and talk but do not realiaze that you can talk beacause of the so called bs wars. Trust me on this one. Some people take for granted what they have.

Fine you are not eligible in THIS country but pretend that you are.

I could not agree with that statement any more than I already do.

I think for us, its a little different becuz the general feeling is that the wars we fight are about money and power, not defending whats right.

If I was eligible, I wouldnt leave, but I wouldnt be happy about going.
