Concert Planning/promotion

Just a shot in the dark here but.......

I am the President of non-profit alumni and volunteer corporation based out of Southeast PA. Each year our association raises thousands for local scholarships and various philanthropic organizations, including YouthAIDS, Camp Dreamcatcher (a local camp for children with or affected by AIDS), and VH1’s Save the Music Foundation.

Two years ago a dear friend and talented musician was taken from us, and each year we hold a local concert that benefits the Save the Music Foundation in his name. Even though each year is better than the last, we lack the experience that will help us raise a substantial donation.

I am currently trying to contact(find) anybody to help in planning(getting sponsors, venue, and equipment) and promoting next year’s event. Locally, we are a small organization and would not be able to pay much as we would like to funnel all profits to the charity.

Anybody have any insights here?? or better yet experience?

Also any southeast PA bands out there that would like to play?
