Two new cell phone studies find...
-Cell phone usage excites your brain?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13550265/ -Mythbusters was right, it is as bad as driving drunk... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13621877/?GT1=8307 So, does all this talk of radiation and excitability freak anyone out? Will it change your habits? And now that we've seen even more research point to the dangers of driving while on the phone, does anyone think more laws will pass to ban cell phone usage while behind the wheel? Thoughts?

I honestly doubt it. Just as people know smoking causes cancer, they will still continue to smoke. Even if a link is tied to cells and cancer, I honestly doubt people will refrain from using them.
As far as a ban - I honestly doubt that will ever happen either. I lived near a town that had a law passed that you had to be on a hands free device or you'd be fined 90 dollars. No cell phone calls while driving if you had the phone to your ear - No fine if you were using an ear piece or hands free device. You'd still see practically every other car with a cell phone to their ear. It didn't stop people one bit. |
