Anyone Else Have a Good 4th?

Wound up going over to a friends house. Picked up a 30 pack of beer plus 6 pack of corona for myself (thinking it wasn't gonna be a big night). Turns out we wound up using all my beer plus the 2 cases my friend got and still had to use our backup stash. I don't usually drink much but we started at 5pm and just stopped.

Was a fun night though. Never got drunk. Beer pong keeps you from getting drunk but uses up quite a bit of beer. No fireworks though. Because of the really bad floods they had to cancel all the fireworks shows.

Got to the beach around 2pm. Not parking for a mile round, and traffic was rediculous.

Hit the sand, and set up camp on the high shores. Got a prime spot next to a fire pit, unloaded a ton of useless camping equipment, brought a dozen or so friends, shot the shit, ate burgers, bacon dogs, prime rib, asian bbq, and a ton of snack foods and drinks, went body surfing for a while, ate a ton more, and watched the queen mary set off a 30 min fireworks show. Left around 11 and headed out to a small sandiwch place and met up with a couple buddies. Shot the shit a little more, and made it home by 12!

Good day in my book!

It rained. My ex-girlfriend pissed me off. And that pretty much was it.

I did meet a new prospective lady friend though. :)

Spent the entire day at the family beach house with about 50 people. Caught a good buzz and a better sunburn.

My 4th was long but fun. It started out with me sanding down a fender for my Integra, hard work. I went over to my friends house with my daughter and ate and drank a couple of beers, went and saw a amazing fireworks display my hometown (Euclid OH) puts on. After that we went back and blew off 1/2 and 1/4 sticks in the street, that was friken insane loud! I had to pick the wife up from work at 2am and had the little one so I really couldn't do much, but ohh well it was still a good time. I saw a bunch of losers with Neons with dumb wings and Cavaliers and Civics with fartpipes I could stick my head in stuck in the traffic jam after, made me want my car even more
17 days!

I made it onto the lake with 10 other friends by about noon. We have an island were boats anchor and tie up to each other in the summer. The 4th is always off the hook! We didn't want to deal with beer cans, running out of ice and trash so we oppted for a 16 gal keg. The day was great! a little chilly once it started getting dark but all in all a great day.

Now I'm hung over as hell and The beer brats we cooked are making me fart like crazy! When I sit in my chair my equlibrium is sooo messed up from being on the boat all weekend and yesterday that I'm all dizy and it feels like the floor is moving!

just woke up. I think I slept through most of my hangover. I know I'll be gettin the beer shits later on (my stomach is messed up so any type of alcohol or fatty foods cause issues).

Haha, yeah, it was great. Still getting used to the car, though. For some reason, my 1-4 shifts all give me the car a hesitation like I let go of the clutch too soon. It drives me nuts, and I'm starting to think its not me. Is it? And if so, how do I not do that (I've driven sticks before).
