Hit and Run by a Acura TL

Last night we were coming home from Hollywood,Ca on the 170 freeway in my friends Lincoln LS V6 at around 2:00 a.m. and we were rear ended by a white 2004-2006 Acura TL. We were on the lane right next to the car pool lane and the person in the TL didnt see us and rear ended us. We were going about 70 mph. After he hit the car he changed lanes into the carpool lane and seemed like he was going to stop since he pulled right next to us. Unfortunately he had tinted windows all the way around and we couldnt see inside. After we started to beep at the driver to pull over he decided to take off. The first thing we thought was to take his license plate number, but he had paper tags that said "JJ Sports" or "JJ Motorsports". Since we couldnt get his license plate we started to chase him, he was driving crazy as hell but we had no choice but to try and keep up to him. He got of on the Sheldon exit on the 170 freeway and we lost him on the offramp since he just speed through the curve but my friends Lincoln couldnt keep up. My friend ended up calling the police to file a report so that he could at least get this hit and run covered by his insurance otherwise they wouldnt cover him. All I can say is this guy is lucky that we didnt catch him otherwise he would have been on lifesupport right now because we were heated.

My friends rear bumper was damaged on the rear right corner pretty badly but I think the TL had the worst damage since I saw his front bumper hanging.

If anybody on this forum lives in the San Fernando Valley in Southern Cali, please let me know if you know this person or if you have seen a damaged white TL with paper tags that read JJ Sports or JJ Motorsports. Im sure he at least removed the tags by now though. We'll try not to beat the shit out of the guy and call the cops so they can arrest him for hit and run. This is some bullshit and he needs to pay for what he did. Otherwise he'll be back on the street drunk driving again and next time it probably will be a worst accident.

You'll be getting in far worse trouble for hurting him than you would if you just let the cops take care of him.

Vigilante justice usually doesn't do much except get you in trouble. Sucks, but that's how it goes usually.

Yeah, we wont we beat him up. Just venting since he got away. We are all ok and the car will most likely be repaired by the insurance which is most important. My friend handled his Lincoln very well because we almost spun out going 70 since he hit us in the corner.

just find his car and put 2 "O"'s in between the TL emblem. this will alert everyone around him in the future to watch out.

Well, I think you did the right thing by calling the cops. And at least you got a decent description of the vehicle. I'm not familiar with JJ (Motor)Sports. Is that a local place? Maybe the cops will find something there??

Yeah, didnt think about the possibility that the guy in the car did steal it. We described the whole thing to the cops but they straight out told us that they werent going to waste their time looking for a hit and run suspect if there were no injuries. Out here in the ghetto the police dont really car about this kind of stuff. I should have complained that my back or hurt or something. Oh well, at least the damage is being repaired. Like you said Cyberygypsy, Karma will get them.
