Anyone know where I can buy a functioning xbox 360 for a low price? And is it true the 360 screws up easily? Or do u guys recomend I buy a ps3?

ebay, local game store in mall/shopping plaza usually sells for the same price everywhere.

they dont malfunction unless you abuse it ... ive had mine for about 1 year and take it back and forth from the fire dept and back home every day and works fine ...

I wouldn't recommend buying a used XBOX 360. Until recently, Microsoft has been making them cheaply where they break quite often. As of the last couple of months, they added a more efficient heat sink and now the console doesn't heat up as fast and melt the chips off.

If that doesn't make sense, than let me put it in simple terms. You need to purchase it brand new or you're pretty much guaranteed to be annoyed.

You've been as lucky as I have. However, I have a few friends who treat their electronics like a baby and they have gone through 6 XBOX 360' since launch. There is definitely an issue and Microsoft knows it since they put a 3 year warranty on the 3RLOD.

maybe i got a good one. i've never got the 3RROD(knock on wood) i've got one and two but all i did was turn it off for five minutes and turn it back on.

My first 360 I played it all day, everyday until 8 months later...got the RROD. Sold the 360 and bought an another one last week but yea...GTA IV+Forza 2. 360>PS3
