I wouldn't recommend buying a used XBOX 360. Until recently, Microsoft has been making them cheaply where they break quite often. As of the last couple of months, they added a more efficient heat sink and now the console doesn't heat up as fast and melt the chips off.
If that doesn't make sense, than let me put it in simple terms. You need to purchase it brand new or you're pretty much guaranteed to be annoyed. |

You've been as lucky as I have. However, I have a few friends who treat their electronics like a baby and they have gone through 6 XBOX 360' since launch. There is definitely an issue and Microsoft knows it since they put a 3 year warranty on the 3RLOD.
