I was fighting with some guy, when some dude jumped in, I hooked him and he turned around only to fall down 4 flights of stairs lmao it was awesome.

I was going to steal a helicopter from the helitour thingy... and noticed a guy standing close to the edge of the water. I punched him and he fell in the water, swam to the ladder, climbed back up, and I punched him back in. Four times.

I laughed hard.

i got the tail cut off a helicopter the remaining part just spun it the air. i could prety much only go up and down and slightly side to side.

i started to read through the pages but i didnt see if this happened to anyone.

your going insanely fast for no reason at all and hit a car head on and the guy gets out of his car on fire and he falls to the ground screaming lol.

-also is anyone trying for 100%? the only thing left i need to do is take out jacob to a show and packie to pool or something and 190 pigeons to kill and im at 100%.

I'd have to say a few:

Watching my boy play for the first time he was trying to jack some dudes car with his m4 and the car took off on him and way way up the street he was about to make a turn and my boy popped manual aim and shot once thru the back windshield and the car went right into the wall...Me him and about 4 other people there went "NO FING WAY" ran up to the car and sure enough he nailed the guy. (COD4 skills at their finest)

Memorable moments for me:

Watching other people in the world acting like me adds a lot to the game watching other bad guys run from the cops, draw on the cops, 3 cops mowing down someone...those were all amazing to see for the first time.

The bank heist mission...felt like I was in HEAT brought back memories of awesomeness (wish all the missions were that awesome).

People burning to their demise is awesome as well...car explodes and they get out screaming them they smoke after they become charcoal someone took their sweet time with that animation.



Cons I guess though are cops in GTA4 come running WAY to often. in other GTA games you could have a lot of fun and use major weapons anywhere but you pop a pistol shot and here comes the popo. Admittedly its more realistic but sadly it takes a lot away from the game.

Okay I dont know if this was already mentioned or not.
-There is an old civic, crx, hatch type car in the game. I dont know if its just me, but I think it has some sort of vtec. Put the volume up and turn the volume for the music down. You will hear it when acclerating hard from a stop.

I picked this game up just the other day. I love it. I'm all of .7% complete so far. I've had too much fun driving around learning the layout and controls.

I did catch an SUV on fire from doing burnouts. I drove it (on fire) into a crowd of people and into a wall. I jumped out as I started hitting the crowd, just in time for it to explode and watch as members of the crowd and myself went flying randomly into the air.

I need to set it up to record and do screen shots.

I noticed this too. I think it's just that you get going so fast that the engine can't handle it, and it hits the rev limiter. Seriously, that car is junk in this game. It's slow and handles like a turd.

^ I cream myself everytime an open worlded game comes out (GTA, Oblivion, etc). I love driving around and seeing a new world. I wish I wasnt working atm....id go play it

Check out Prototype :) game looks amazing...although i get the feeling its going to fail like Assassins Creed did.

Could be but it can be bouncing of the limiter for seconds after every shift?!

i just tried GTA IV on xbox live..it's frikken hilarious the missions u can do, but even funnier when you listen to the ppl talk smack don't do the missions and just wanted to kill ppl...

but so much detail to everything is great..i'm only at 23 % for the whole game lol

strip club is hilarious

kno about those too nothing to me blew my mind like Fable 2's showing their amazing Single Player/Multi Player CO-OP live at all times thing. Was insanely neat.
