wow, i just read on yahoo! news that this game sold 6 million copies in just one week. And 3 million of em were on april 29th, the day it came out. Wow, thats amazing, never in the history of video games, music, or even movies has something sold this much in one week. I'm already positive that this is the greatest game ever made, but geez, perhaps its just all-around, the greatest "thing" ever made!

i dont know if id call it the greatest game ever made, but the main reason for so many being sold was the fact that it got pushed got like 54,000 times you when it finally came out every1 wanted it, i know i was the first in my local gamestop when it opened at 10 to get one so i wouldnt have to deal with not being able to find one ... i felt like such a nerd

well yeah, but tons of movies and CD's get pushed back, and while it might help their sales somewhat, its not gonna make em sell 6 million in a week. Look at Lil Wayne upcoming "Carter 3" its been pushed back for over a year now, and its got tons of hype, but it wont sell anywhere NEAR 6 million in a week, maybe 6 million in its entire life

with a cd you never know what you are going to get, plus its only something you listen to, with a game especially part of the gta series you know it will kick ass and with the first one out for the new systems thats where the hype is, so its a little different but i get what you are saying

How far are you guys? I just passed the mission where you rob the bank. I had to redo it like 4 times because my POS crew kept on getting killed on me.

right now my choice of missions is between Playboys, Dwaynes and Mannys 3rd missions each.

to be honest once Algonquin opened up ive been exploring alot. and now that online is fixed ive been online alot. havent really progressed in the last 2-3 days. lol.

did you know if you kill playboy, you get is apartment and in the closet where you changes clothes, there is an outfit in there that is the outfit from GTA3

My %88 saved game magically got deleted so I have to start all over again. So ticked off, Xbox sucks F*CK

On a side note, GTA beat Halo 3's opening day by $200 million, now GTA has the record.

PS3 FTW! i have not heard of PS3 game save data dissappearing (only down part is that blu-ray reader might go up)

player error? how? the only was if he turned the xbox off when it was saving. thats the only way i know.

it could have been a number of things, how does the game just automatically get lost ? please tell me what could have caused that then if it wasnt player error
