I am EXTREMELY intrigued by this game. I keep hearing this can rival and possibly even surpass Gran Turismo.

Visually, it looks phenomenal so far. I can't wait.

surpass Gran Turismo not sure about that... GT is not only graphics but the specs are very accurate too...

if this delivers accurate specs then i'd say yes it can compete with GT...

Anyone else play the demo for this yet? It's been out for about a week I think.

There are three different races you can do:

-a road race type thing with a new mustang,

-a track race with a new BMW 3-series,

-and last but not least, a drifting event with a S15.

The in-car view is absolutely badass, and gives the game a completely different feel than most racing games. I'd say the physics aren't too shabby, I don't know if they are as good as GT or Forza, but they are pretty good IMO.

I have yet to actually read any of the articles about this game, but from what I've seen so far, I might actually get it when it comes out.

i hope they do something about the way the cars handle. driving sucks big time in the demo. NFSPS is way better right now then this

i just picked the real game up for 360. still haven't played it enough but i like the types of driving you can do. ie. drift challenge, circuit, touge, and destruction derby wtf!

I just installed this game last night on my PC. Overall, I really like this game. The graphics are A+, the physics are pretty damn good, and the fun factor is there as well. Gran Turismo still offers more in the tuning and overall car selection, but Grid has a little bit more fun factor, the car damage is really cool, and the instant replay feature is just amazing.

I would personally give this game 9 out of 10 stars, I just wish there was a little flexability in tuning your car.

Glad to see they didnt completely fall into the trend of tuning cars in games.
It's nice and all to be able to do that but it's a video game and it's meant to be fun, not frustrating and time consuming

I dl'd the demo, and it looks nice. Not crazy about the physics, but I'm also a little biased towards Forza2 physics atm. I keep hearing how the actual game will play better than the demo, so I'm interested to hear if it does. Also, as far as arcade racers go, what do you guys think of burnout paradise? I played the demo once, and thought it was pretty cool... $50 cool? IDK.

^yup one on one battle and has pro touge where you cannot touch the other driver or you get penalized and the one with the fewer finishing time wins

midnight touge is different where you are racing one on one on an open road and every once in a while you will see domestic cars driving up the road randomly and if you crash, game over

and lot's more. races are usually divided until american, euro, or japanese. i usually play japanese because they just have more fun types of races i.e. drift and touge. bomb ass game if you have a 360 or ps3 i recommend to give it a chance if you like racing games
