civic si forza showdown

now that i've beaten the game it's gotten a little boring, lets start having weekly contests with the si on a given track to see who can get the best time.

lets do laguna seca, no limit on mods, must post pic of your fastest lap time.

Perhaps on the weekend, I would love to, not enough time during the week.

Suggest you set a designated class for each week and a time(weekend).

Hit me up on xbl, my gamertag is tpofa put something signalling you are from here

I don't have xbox live, and so I don't have the 8th gen si, but I wanted to contribute somehow.

I ran Laguna with a mugen integra (918 rating, S Class) and got a 1:25.018
-- if y'all want to play along with that; cool. If not, whatever...

1:24.798 -- same car.
btw: no TCS, manual transmission, fuel and tire wear were in effect during run.

I'm down, but not with unlimited mods. A or B class would be good.

well my mugen integra that I ran is about a mid-S class. it's got all suspension mods done, and racing slicks, widest tires, but just not all that much horsepower.

-- I'd be down for an A class Laguna Seca challenge though.

you should do stock runs, with everyone. so the playing field is close

winner = best driver!

but running modified cars also factors in how well you can tune a car...

yeah thats true, but i think it would be more fun if there was a constant, such as the same cars for everyone stock, so the final outcome aka the winner would be determined by how well they can use the controller heh.

or

they could do both?

all stock Si race

and

unlimited class Si race

indeed.

but again, I don't have live, so I have yet to be able to download the 8th gen Si...

but I like the idea of both a stock race and modified race.

I'd do stock SI race.... saying that you can mod the car the best means nothing... Since it's the internet you can find the best way to tune anything. STOCK is god.

Care to share your resources? I am stuck at Driver level 45 and can't seem to get past the last few r4 professional series races... those guys are real bastards, lol.

I can't say I agree there. While it is possible to look up how other people have tuned cars, that doesn't take into account driving styles. And each track benefits from its own specific tune, so both of those things together make it more difficult for there to be just one setup that works. Me and my roommate tune differently, but we also drive differently. Minute tuning changes can make a difference, and its that ability to tune the car to compliment how you approach corners so that the two together help you to go faster.

...all in all, I'm still up for a stock race.
but again, I don't have our 8th Si on the game...

I think my 06 Si is currently D class, but I guess I could remove mods to get it to whatever class.
