^^Sony doesn't offer Xbox Live, the Live Marketplace, and the constant updates that come with having Live. Sony also doesn't offer Gears of War, Halo 3, Forza II, or an online experience like Live. Almost everything available on PS3 is also available for 360, but again - there is no Live which makes them less desirable in my eyes.

Don't get me wrong, I want a PS3 also, but that's mainly for the BlueRay player and Metal Gear Solid when it comes out.

Really silly to say one is better than the other since they both have their ups and downs.

I would do that (did it with my PS2 way back in the day) but I'm afraid of them checking/matching up serial numbers. It's not so easy to do that these days.

I'm on my 4th xbox, but this one has been going strong for about 7-8 months now, which is much longer than any of the previous ones I've had. And I've also been playing more then I ever had because of COD4 and soon to be GTA4

Hopefully this doesn't jinx it.

i was set to get ps3 yesterday at best buy but this gentleman somehow talk me into getting xbox instead. we compared the graphics on both xbox and ps3 on COD4 & Need For Speed and he was right, xbox graphics is just more defined and detailed for some reason.

i also asked about this ring of death thing and he said its a known desease for xbox' but if i buy the warranty for 3 years for $50, i can sleep well knowing they will replace the console no questions asked.

i guess its a good deal so i took it!

only thing i regret is that next edition xbox will be blue ray equipped. i should have wait a little bit.

Mine died tonight. Got it the 1st week of football last year. I have an extended warranty with Best Buy. Anyone know if I get to keep my hard drive? It will be a bitch if i cant

One RROD on an unmodified 360 in 06 which was returned and has been working since.

Two dead dvd drives. One was a modded 06 and the other was a modded 07

Currently one of my modded 07 drives is working but just barely. When it dies I will need to mod my stock one in order to play all my 100+ burnt games lol.

Just so you know my modded 07 finally died but the drive which was already 1/2 dead was not the problem. I got the RROD and a useless drive now! I stopped playing and have no desire to mod a different one thanks to M$ resetting the gamerscore of people who cheat. This did not happen to me, but the only reason I played was cuz gamerscore was addicting lol. I did not get reset, but playing now is useless because if I keep playing they will eventually notice my gamerscore (currently sitting at just under 60k) and will find that I have cheated in the past. Sucks but at least I have free time that I am not spending on increasing a useless (but fun!) number.

i assume you dont have an xbox... i'm not an xbox fanboi or whatever, what i'm after is the best out there. as i've said in my previous post if you havent payed attention, my mind is set in getting a ps3 but when i see the difference when we test both on 52" 1080p samsung lcd, xbox has bettter graphics of the two IMO.

I made out like a bandit today. exchanged the 360, and they did not check that I kept the 120gb hard drive. So now I have 2 120 HD and 2 HDMI cables. And the warranty is intact.

I'm on my second 360. I had one from the release so it was covered under warranty when i got the red rings. Just had to go through the hassles of sending mine in and waiting.
