Well that's somewhat comforting. I've heard of some people talking about 3+ console repairs. I know electronics and wrapping a towel around the console isn't going to do anything for the long term.

This is not true. I wish I were wrong because I love my 360s and have no ps3, but I can confirm that this was just a rumor and if you don't believe me no need to flame. I guess we can all wait till April 29 and find out for ourselves.

damn, that sucks if its not true. on the flipside, ive never finished ANY of the gta games (even the old topdown pc ones), so the extra shit prolly doesnt matter. i always just get caught up running around killing folk, and then barricade myself in a parking garage until i get killed from the army above.

GTA and MS have some deal that only allows the expansion/extra missions to be on Live.

And Ive only had the red ring once...but Im using the hell out of it so the next one will be REALLY fix.

hmm, unless the expansion has a ton of nonmission content (outfits, items, weapons, CARS), then i have no time. ill never finish the original missions, as i said. soul calibur 4, anyone?

frontlines looks decent, but i dont see anything really unique about it. i mean, cod4 looks better imo, and frontlines doesnt strike me as at all creative in their "futuristic" (and thats barely futuristic) depictions of weapons/vehicles. of course, how unique can you make an fps these days in terms of core gameplay? generally, all they have to do is look cool.

as for army of two, how is the replay value? the game looks fun the first time through provided you have a buddy to play with, but...

Just got my Xbox 360 back. Turn around time was 2 weeks. It took less time than expected. I also got a month of Xbox live free.

Ya i got 1 month free as well.

Anybody know the release date for Battlefield 2: Bad Co.? I was a big fan of the first one even tho it was glitchy and sub par graphics.

Yes, mine has been repaired twice with no costs incurred on my end.

As far as the PS3 is concerned, I'll get one when they start getting some good games that are exclusive.

The Wii, the only game that would even come close to making me consider it is SSBB.

Dude...there's a thread somewhere on this forum where I posted about my last 3RLoD, which was my third repair and subsequent 4th console.

That thing just died last week. I called Microsoft and am expecting a coffin to be at my house today. This is my FOURTH repair and when they "fix" it it will be my FIFTH 360. I kid you not. I don't understand why the hell it is so hard for them to just give me one that works, but I'm HIGHLY pissed off with them. Last time they matched me to a specialist who just kept me updated to the shipping progress and hooked me up with a free wireless controller which was cool. This just sucks to have to send my box in again. Hopefully they get me a working console before the 29th when GTA4 comes out.
