I have the game and have beat it on realistic. If vegas 1 was a 9 out of 10, then vegas 2 is a 6 or 7 out of 10. Its a great game and all(like vegas 1), dont get me wrong, but it seems poorly made. Its almost as if ubisoft made vegas 2 then vegas 1 with the amount of problems vegas 2 seems to have. Its as though they got vegas 1 attempted to improve off of it but instead made it worse. Some things are better some things are worse.

Pros:
-Still a great game to play, very fun.
-Some nice new guns.
-Snipers are actually effective!!!!!!! I love the new snipers.
-Pistols are much more effective, you can shoot much quicker.
-AI enemies are smarter and more challenging.
-If you played vegas 1 it gives you some cool stuff at the beggining.
-Easier to rank up.
-Theres more but thats all I could think of off the top of my head.

Cons:
-For $60 its a lot like vegas 1.
-Triggering enemies, what kind of bs is this this wasnt a problem I noticed in vegas 1. However in this game it is blatantly obvious at times and frustrating, and in my opinion detracts seriously from the game.
-Enemies kill you at times that isnt possible, I have crept up behind an enemy before to have him kill me without turning . They seem to have inhuman speed at times, while other times they are complete idiots. They are better AI, but they are worse. If that makes any sense.
-Achievments dont seem to really work. I have beat the campaign on regular(co-op) and realistic (by myself) and it didnt give me the achievement for beating the campaign on realistic.
-Shoot through cover kinda sucks, you dont know when you can or cant do it, its kinda useless IMO.
-Apparently you cant use breaching charges online , this really pisses me off because I used to breach people all the time on vegas 1 online.
-The AI teammates seem to get stuck a lot, I cant count how many times I have told them to move to a door and instead find them stuck behind, or in something. Puddles really seem to snag them for some reason?
-Theres more but not that I can think of.

Overall a good game, but it still seems like a slightly improved or worse version of vegas 1, depending on who you ask.

I luv the ranking system
next week i'll play on-line which is the only part of the game i dont really care for. I hate how the spawns are limited and you can make major adjustments as a host. that is my ONLY con about the game!!!

Just like the first one, im hooked!!

My friend knows how to boost to elite already, and is one . And you can still get the achievements if boosted

I love shooting fake elites. It's so satisfying.

Besides, one's rank doesn't really mean shit. Everyone reset in the first game anyway, & then on top of that, there were people who were elites via terrorist hunt & couldn't do jack in an adversarial mode.

"super lame" lol. Yea true. I dont think you can reset your rank in this one though, so ***. I got to specialist right away and didnt get my private first class achievement...stupid game.

Yeah, I didn't get that achievement either. I appreciate the idea of giving those who were previously elites a boost automatically, but not getting the achievement is pretty stupid.

I'm not sure what rank I am, actually-- I haven't really payed attention.

im really saddened at how SLOW! the game is, how slow the response is. and i feel like im wearing sand bags and have no movements... i understand theres TACTICALness too it, but man, im just dissapointed.
