Lost Odyssey for XBOX360

Anyone have this game/want it? Supposedly one of the Final Fantasy team members spilt off to make this game. Graphically it looks amazing, and with 4 disks I have heard you get your money's worth gameplay (length) wise.

Never really heard much about until the other day just wondering if anyone has the game, and wouldn't mind discussing it further.

look on xbox.com and watch the vids or something.

I did, but i was hoping for some actual gameplay opinions from an average gamer.

^ Yeah i hear ya on that. There is a ton of good games coming out within the next few months, and perhaps that is why I haven't heard of LO.

Hmm, I'll definitely be on the lookout for the OST...composed by Uematsu.

Character design looks awkward. But, I'll gamefly it for you guys, and report back.

I have this game, and it's one of the best RPGs I've ever played.

If you look at all the game reviews, it averages a 7.5/10 for a mediocre story and long loading times. The loading times are a lot shorter than their "review" copies so some websites might go back and rereview the game. As for the story, these reviewers must be on drugs because the story is great.

I have played all of the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games, and Lost Odyssey wins by a long shot. The story is MASSIVE and very dramatic (first game that ever made me shed a tear). The graphics are beautiful, the music is great, the gameplay is not boring, and the voice acting (English/Japanese/German/Italian and some others) is very good. Lip synching is done on the English voices so I tend to keep it English for most part.

There are four DVDs total, and around 50 hours of gameplay. It'll take you a lot longer if you want to find all the spells, bosses, and weapon/ring upgrades.

This story is very sad though. The main character is an immortal who have lived for 1000 years, so throughout the game, he remembers past events of all the people he saw die. This game is definately worth $60.

I purchased Lost on the relase date and have been playing it since... its a pretty good RPG, but id already have that figured since it was made by the legendary Hironobu, creator of the Final Fantasy Series... which is WAY BETTER THAN LOST ITSELF. the story is good, the game play is just like FF turn base, the score is great, graphic and cut scenes are good... i love the way the fight scenes look, its almost gears of war like. only bad things i hate about the game is the voice over characters, the load times get annoying because your loading almost every other scene walking from one scene to another... the frame rate issue is horrible when your in a fight. i'd have to agree that it is one of the best RPG's out for xbox, next to Mass Effect which had stunning visuals and play system. So if you like final fantasy you'd like LoST so get it. :)
