Devil May Cry 4

So how many fans of the series do we have here on the 8th?

The game is coming out tomorrow, and the same producer that did the 1st in the series as well as Resident Evil 4 is producing this one. For those who don't know much about the game it isn't your typical hack n slash type game. Story line is DEEP, and they add enough to the gameplay so your not consistantly tapping the X button.

Good game I will be picking up a copy this week for sure.

Thoughts?

i had the one for xbox and it was pretty good... but iono if ill spend the money on it just yet.
i recently got turok and its a pretty good game so far. then army of 2, GTA4, R6V2 come out soon.

I love the gamplay of the DMC series though and may rent this to see how good it is.
the graphics are pretty dope too.

I'm new to the series, but i've downloaded the demo on xbox live. It was fun until I got stuck... i'm a newb haha. Maybe I'll rent it.

I was going to get Turok, but i heard some not so great things from all the reviews. You need to keep me updated on your likes/dislikes of the game. In the mean time you need to get DMC4 lol.

Usually the gameplay is very in-depth, and the replay value on the game is huge IMO since you can beat side missions, extras etc... I think you both will not be disappointed if you at least try it out (more than a demo version).

WOW i just watched the two trailers on xbox.com.... lemme say they did an AWESOME job promoting it with the vids.
I wanna pick it up now... but i bought turok and waitng for GTA4 and army of 2

This game is awesome. More like a rent to me. Not something I would play more than once. Ninja Gaiden owns this game IMO.

This game IMO made Ninja Gaiden what it is. The DMC series was the first to have several elements in the gameplay that many hack n slash games have now. Not to mention the huge boss fights...that DMC series has made famous

I actually just bought this game yesterday. I think its great, I have never been a big DMC4 game player, but the demo got me into it, and I love it you wont be disappointed.

True, but you can't argue Ninja Gaiden did it better

yeah I would tend to agree....both really good games.

Also, I have been told that DMC4 has about 20 hours of gameplay in it for the average gamer which isn't bad when compared to other similar titles like heavenly sword etc..

Heavenly Sword was a great game, but I really do regret buying it. I beat it in like 3-4 hours.

I love DMC this game is freakin awsome i like it better than ninja gaiden and ive been a huge fan since the first one bout to start playing again peace

I finally had a chance to get some gameplay with DMC4 last night (only about an hour), but I must say the game seems bad ass so far IMO. They do such a good job of incorporating enough new elements to the games it keeps them fresh.

Ninja Gaiden FTW!! What I liked about it over DMC...difficulty. Ninja Gaiden kicked my ass on Normal the first time, then they went to insane mode and that was no contest. I was pwned.

Ninja Gaiden 2 will pwn.

Ninja Gaiden is good I must agree.. But why so many freaking remakes?? at least make a new game. Not sell the old one under 4 different titles

just got devil may cry 4 2 days ago. this game is so fun to play. the 5gb download thingy helps a bunch with load times.

both Ninja Gaiden black and devil may cry are awesome games. I'd like to see Devil May Cry 4, sounds sweet!
