Halo 3 wins hands down, the story line to Halo is untouchable, same goes for online play, hence the reason over 250,000 people are on 24 hrs in the day. And won most addicting game of the year.

COD4 doesnt suck, the campaign mode is somewhat short but the online play more than makes up for it, from what i have heard Halo 3 is just halo 2 with some extras, imo its all overrated, i have a friend who played the first two and still does religously, he played the 3rd once and didnt like it. At least with COD4 they went to modern warfare and got away from the WWII stuff ... to say it sucks is stupid its a top selling game for more than one system

I play COD4 religously now and i hate halo... ill play it here and there with friends. but hate the online now.

I play COD4 for the realism...and H3 when my buddies are online that don't have COD. Halo seems too cartoony and childish. Gets old really fast. I've got a little over 1000 games played online with H3 and over 5000 with H2 and it does have a way of making you come back every now and then...but after a game or two, you remember why you left it in the first place.

But like someone said earlier...both were created with a different goal....Halo has always been a sci-fi, futuristic type of game and COD has always gone for more realism and historic/modern times. To two can't really be compared fairly.

ehh, i wasn't much of a cod4 fan on ps3.. could be the controller though becuz i'm so used to the x360 controller.. especially with shooters and have biased towards h3 becuz of that. but looks like im gonna have to pick up cod4 today.

yea nothing beats the xbox contoller, i played cod on ps3 and it wasnt as enjoyable for that reason, plus the graphics seemed the same,

was a huge halo fan... but I bought COD4 just for something to do when the friends weren't online.... now I'm hooked on COD4... on at any chance I get... the campaign is nothing to get excited about, but the multiplayer is just awesome. (althought I hate martyr grenades perk)
