both way different games but cod is way better imo, and you do need skill for it, u need it for both, but all those fake guns and jumping halfway across the map gets old to me after awhile, ive been playin cod online nonstop, its so addicting

As long as you can aim and pull a trigger, you can win at Call of Duty. I've played it and hate it.

To compensate for people jumping "across the map" requires skill to kill them before they land. It's not hard.
Call of Duty when I played was as long as someone was in your general area of the cross hair, they are dead after one shot. How hard is that?

Halo 3 = skill required
Call of Duty= very minimum

lol i dunno what call of duty u played but thats not how it is at all, the guns vary and its a quick game, some guns do require one shot but um when was the last time you saw some1 get shot 30 times and run around the corner, its realistic which is how i why i like the game, im not putting down halo cuz i know its a great game but i never got into it, but to say skill isnt need is dumb, the first time i played i got raped online, the campaign is very easy but not playing online, half the time u cant even take a step without some1 shooting, maybe you just played against some bad people, prolly the case if u played with a low rank

Rank doesn't matter on Call of Duty since it NEVER delevels you and you NEVER have to work your way back up.

what??? you get grouped with people of your experience, the higher you are the more you play with higher ranked people, it has everything to do with it, sure you dont get demoted but once u get to 55 u can start all over but still play with top ranked people, im not trying to argue here but i mean it sounds like youve never really played the game and your just biased to halo so theres no point in going back and forth, even if u have played it a lot it doesnt seem like you know too much about it, but again im not trying to fight or anything so dont take this the wrong way just my opinion thats all

wow this isnt battle of the best....
and both games need skill and both games have there high/low points.
you can run around a corner and spray a RPD LMG and take out a guy or two. or lob 3 grenades and hopefully hit someone... it can and does happen. but then you get snipers, runners with juggernaut and a shotty, or people with a smg and deep impact. its the perks and the weapons the determine skill or no skill. some play for Ss&Gs and some are into the actual game and have clans.

Halo is the same way... you play the maps over and over... soon you know all the hiding spots. and to be able to hit someone with a shotty point blank and they dont die but punch you and you die? kinda ****. i have my good games and bad games... and snipin kinda sucks on there. i loved it when it came out... but like everygame you get the no lifers that play it religeously and know how to kill you quick.

both games are great.... some like one more then the other though...

i personally think Cod 4 requires more skill, especially if you play Search and destroy.

ive never played cod4 but i heard you can get powerups the better you get. i dont think i would like that. it gives players an advantage. in halo, everyone is the name, that means its solely based on skill, not what powerups you get.

im a halo guy if you didnt figure that out.

yeah the cod4 stuff id true, not really a power up tho.. it may take a few more bullets to kill a guy but it is still possible.
when u first start off there is not even a scope on the gun but after a few rank up u can achieve..

But i was getting like 20+ kills a game... with the M2014 sniper... (think that name) and the M16. just getting used to the pace of the game and knowing the guns.
Ive played it enough to know the weapons pretty good. and people who are like 5th prestiege get pwn'd by guys like... ME and newbs. it happens.
On halo... i PWN sometimes... and others i get rocked.

if you have the skill to play cod u know which gun to pickand so its still evevn, im on prestige for the first time now and when i started over i picked the m16 and was still comin in the top 3 with no good add ons

okay guys so everyone has different interests so let leave it as that, there is really now reason to argue about gamesm, either way you will have people who like one game in comparison to others

but anyways like i was saying,
rite now on cod4
im on 3rd prestige level 32 ithink starting to get bored of it. but o well...
i play headquarters on cod... u get mad points when your team whens plus a grip of kills to unlock all your red dots,.. n so on..

and halo i think im captain or something like that highest level is 26.. dont really wanna hit the 30 yet because it get too tough.

i played halo 2 for 3 years religiously and when i got halo 3 i was very very very disappointed.. everyone told me to get COD4 so i did and i have to say that it's probably one of the best games i've played in a while.. a hell of a lot better than h3.. the level system i think is awesome too.. you start leveling up via XP from various things in the game then when you reach level 55 you start all over again at a level 1 but you're on your second prestige.. so you're actually a 1 but people can still tell what experience you have because every prestige has a different symbol. i love it and the online play is phenomenal..
