GHIII for Wii

just wondering if anyone has it, and what your opinions are. I am seriously considering it.

Oh hells yeah...its awesome.

Its also the first GH I've played, so I have no basis for comparison, but it does come with a wireless guitar...I guess that's new for GH3?

actually got this for Wii on friday. Played a LOT this weekend.... had to take a break cause theres a blister on my thumb o_O It's great though.... first one I've actually played. Sucked so bad when I first started but i'm catching on quick!

ive got it for PC and my friend has it for Wii, theyre both fun. it is alittle different coming from pc to wii when i play at his house..but not sure what the difference is. just takes me 1/2 song and im back to how i play on PC

I got guitar hero 2 and 3 for xbox 360. I have beaten both games on hard and am pretty far on expert level. i usually average about 86% on hard songs and like 79% on expert songs depending on what song it is. I think the hardest song in either game would have to be the slipknot song on GH3 on hard

I bought my sister the Wii version and my dad the PS3 version for christmas. Haven't tried playing either of them yet so can't give a comparison

its fun, but i guess for me it got a little boring
now im all in to beating zelda which i gave up
a while back, wait till march and get super
smash, that game is gonna be awesome!

It's totally sweet, when you mess up the sound comes from the guitar and when you use the star power the guitar starts vibrating with the beat, both wii exclusives I believe.

Ive heard a lot of complaints that the sound is in mono, but I honestly didn't notice until someone told me, and I've heard they are going to offer a free copy of the stereo version to anyone who has it whenever that comes out.

i didnt notice the mono either..and im not really a fan of the vibrating/sound from the guitar..but thats just what i have to get used to

I believe the vibrating is coming from the remote itself that is placed inside the guitar. I bet there is a way to turn off the vibration in system menu or maybe in game menu

I love the game but there is no way I am at the expert level even after playing the game after 2 months.

I have only beaten 8 songs on hard. I youtubed the game and I seen some guys who beat a few of the songs on expert. I seriously don't know how they did it. I guess it's just skill and practice. I'll be happy if I can beat the song on hard.

I had it for Wii but traded it in. After a while it gets kinda old.

I wish Rock Band would come out for Wii.

I've played it several times, and actually picked up a copy last night. I beat it on easy. Now it's onto medium. I enjoy it, but I can see how soon the songs will start getting on my nerves. It's more fun with a group of people than solo.

the only part of the game that got annoying is the slow songs. i played at best buy some so the easy was kinda annoying when i got it but i beat it first anyway. medium is my favorite though

the game doesn't really get fun til you start playing hard with the orange button and get to use hammer on and pull offs. I have beaten GH2 and GH3 in Hard but have trouble with the triple notes on expert. One thing i figured out that i'm not sure if many people know is that if you press select it uses your star power, instead of having to lift the head of the guitar up

i have a hard time reachign for the select button on the explorer guitar..its too small to do easily..its easier to just lift it real quick..it does to that easy

and yeah the hammer on and pull offs are hard to used to

The best way to learn is to play the easiest song on hard or expert.
