i guess people should just take the game for wa it is.
an arcade style racing game with sum sim. elements to it
if u dont like it then return it or rent it in the first place,
or better yet, read sum reviews first.

i think that most of the things that made the previous games good
are made better in this game. they even have a clutch for the drag racing!!!
sure theres no police chases, but i dint really like em to begin with
the game is a lil short on cars, that is my only real complaint
overall its a great game

I actually really liked the game. No story line??? The whole idea is that you take your car to track days on weekends, just like in 99% of the average tuner's life. I agree, it would be cool to free roam but oh well. Graphics are really good and you are finally responsible for your damage. Parts are over priced and they could use a few more cars, and paint job features in my opinion. I have not tried it yet but the online feature's sound really cool. Did anyone drive a unmodified civic si?? IMO the car drove just like the real thing, "back end swings out when cornering at high speeds and OEM braking is bang on. I give EA sports props for that and the concept, although they should of paired up with nopi for the advertising aspect and wider publicity.

I totally agree, NFSU 1, 2 and Most Wanted were the shit. Carbon was a little weird and this game is just bad. Forza is 10 times better than this game.

For all you junkies that enjoy the non-realism of the older NFS games...there's always Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights. It's rediculous...and still quite fun!

i liked it, up to the high speed races or whatever they are called. maybe it was just my choice in car, the vette sucked. i kept the 240 for grip, used a chevelle for drag (7.67@221mph and a 919ft wheelie), and the gt500 (the new one) for drift. I havent touched in a while cause my memory card got a corrupted file and lost all of my work (kinda pissed me off). but the two things i dont like are 1.) like most games you cant perform engine swaps (who keeps a stock block motor in there race car?) 2.) in the demo it shows actual damage to cars, whereas in game play you hit a wall at 120 and you get a scratch on the hood and a little puff of smoke. i say no damage or have realistic damage (crinkled hoods, dents dings, etc. )

All i know is that the drifting is BS. That was the deal breaker. Good thing i have gamefly (return!!)

Hot Pursuit and most wanted I thought were the most fun. All the others are crap.
