xbox/ps3

I am looking to get a newer game console soon.....im playin on the old school xbox. Looking to either go with the xbox 360 or the new ps3. What do you guys think? I heard the ps3 had a lot of problems a while ago but i also have had friends having to send their 360's in to be repaired. Any suggestions?

as a pure gaming console the xbox360 is better..it has a lot more games

Go with the xbox 360. You already have games you can play on the 360, plus u can trade-in your old school xbox toward the purchase of the 360.

Get the 360 so you can be 1 more person with the RROD.

Also, if you're gonna get a 360, be sure to get it a waterproof cover and put it in a cooler full of ice whenever playing it.

(Just get a PS3, more games coming out, you DON'T have to upgrade your DVD player for $150 and you don't have to PAY to play online.)

3 Year Warranty on the 360 now.......and the newer ones aren't supposed to have the problems the initial batch have. I don't own either.......but achievements on the 360 are a GREAT feature that neither PS3 or Wii implemented

and one of them sold it and went with the ps3 and loves it now.

also free online unlike xbox live. and if your a halo fan
you will love ghost recon 2 or call of duty 4 great games

The horrible ratings i think is simply because it's like no other NFS. This one is not just going fast and doing what you want. I have it for the PS3. I haven't done much on Career but I've done plenty on Split-Screen and I love it. But of course, I've had every NFS since PS1.

Resistance:Fall Of Man / Assassins Creed / Tekken are good games.

dude, the PS3 will destroy the XBOX for racing games. right now theres NFS: Pro Street, RR7, anf F1 Championship which all are pretty good, theres also Test Drive Unlimited which i didnt like but lots of other people did...

yeah Test drive and NFS are on both systems, but it should hold you over untill next year

bc next year there's gonna be GT5...come on GT5.

the PS3 is most definetly better than a 360 for racing games. also if you ever get serious about racing sims like F1 and GT5, a wheel is a good thing to have and the PS3 simply destroys the 360 in the quality of wheels availble.

anyone who says an XBOX 360 is better than a PS3 for racing games is nuts.
