Could it be a hand shake issue? What are you outputting the audio too and what type of connection.

i have an hdmi cord and its only when i play games i have sound lag

and your sure its the sound that comes afterword right? and not the sound that comes first and the video that comes after?

theres a video out in youtube about this... someone came up with a solution... but its a bit ghetto and its either a hit or miss..

you basically yank out the hdmi cord from the ps3 then just plug it back in and it either fixes it or it doesnt.

Are you going to a reciever or straight to the TV? Do you also have the latest PS3 firmware 2.0 I believe. I know that some recievers/TV's have been known to have handshake issues. Try going optical (toslink) out of the PS3 to whatever your using to input the audio see if that takes care of it for now.

no problems here... but i have not tried a 'real game disk'. just demos off the HDD. i am using a HDMI to the tv and nothing else.
