actually your not a level away you have to fill up that level before you can use it. its just going back to lvl 1 and showing that you level up

i'm lvl 55 right now and next level is prestige. when i got to 55 i got the golden desert eagle and said something about new challenges, but don't know what challenges i unlocked since there is nothing showing.

when you go into prestige do you lose everything? (weapons, perks, etc.)

You lose everything (weapons, perks and you have to do all the challenges again) Just went prestige last night.

lol damn i'm starting to think the online part of COD4 is never ending then. i went prestige and lost everything, and i know after that you go prestige again and lose everything, etc. sucks i was so close to completing all the challenges...

lol.... not trying to be an ass but since ive added everyone that has listed their psn
and seen everyone on before its safe to say you are lowest rank
i was like 3rd from top... but i stopped playing the last two days

the only reason why I tolerate network problems is b/c I like playin' w/ everyone. You guys cover each other. Like last night, a sniper kept pickin' each of us at the "BOG" stage. We decided to flanked him on all sides. I did the rest of stabbing him all the time

i doubt it im only level 2 or 3 i think i rarely play cause it takes so long to get into a game.
