because imo although the wii is probably more fun ( i have never played or seen it in action) id rather go for something thats fun and had great graphics, after playing my xbox elite for 2 weeks now i can honestly the detail in games doesnt compare to the ps3 but i definetly have more fun with it which is why my ps3 is going bye bye

I'd take a 360 over a PS3 though for sure.
Achievements are the greatest, seriously. I get bored playing so I need incentives

a friend of mine waited in line for a day to get a Wii. He played it, loved it, got tired of it. So he sold it for an 360, now he and I Halo3 it all the time.

I haven't been impressed with the PS3 at all. It is cool that I can play old PS2 games, but thats about it right now. I heard it was supposed to be the greatest edition to a home theater...but hell, an xbox can stream though a windows media center edition pc. If I could only get it set up correctly.

ps3 is the shit but i'd say is failing cuz of developers and sony just constantly f*cking up with games and such.... Ps3 is not living up to its full potential due lack of titles and develpers screwing up the games they do come out with.... like virtua fighter 5, its an awsome game, the detail and gameplay is jaw droping but its one of those games that needs online support to really make the game a "buyer". So without friends equally skilled at the game it gets old playing the cpu so online would have helped a lot... On guitar hero 3 theres a mode thats on xbox and wii versions but not on ps3, WHY!?!? stupid shit like that is what is hurting ps3.... that and weak titles...i'd say resistance: fall of man is what kept ps3 in the game even now, which is a badass game btw.... Warhawk looks good but is an only online game... that cant help the game with no campaign or story....i cant wait for a soul calibur to come out on ps3.. nintendo is the only one that is keeping true to gaming making a system thats not all flash but about the fun of the game.... to thats what makes a good game best of both worlds. That new rachet and clank on ps3 looks like its worth checking out....heavenly sword is pretty cool too but these 2 games r more of a rent and beat.....the 360 is a decent system but they r doin a better job of keeping a good library of games and keep them coming steady.... so for now xbox is i'd say is kickin the ass until the ps3 guys and sony get their heads out of their asses....

on a side note j/w does anybody else besides me like the gameplay of the wwe games ie, wrestlemainia, wwe revenge on n64 better than the gameplay of the smackdown series??? I found the older games on 64 much more fun than the all flash smackdown games....

Some one needs to lock this thread and re-open it 1 year from now.. most people that don't like the PS3 is because they don't have one.. as soon as the killer titles come out we will see how people start buying PS3s like crazy.. specially since the PS3 is only $399 now..

Alot of gamers are waitting on this titles to buy the PS3, i have a PS3 right now but no games for it, my first game will be NFS Prostreet.. and then metal gear,socom,grand turismo,GTA and so on..

get Warhawk. it is easily the most split screen fun i have had since GoldenEye for N64.

is warhawk good? i havent got my hands on it yet. Im tryin to see if i can rent it. i was lookin at it but i dunno... i heard u die too fast which can take some of the fun out if when ur respawning nonstop

yeah you can die fast because there is a learning curve, but its still fun. there isnt even any tutorial or anything, but once you get used to it its really fun.

best thing is to get 3 buddies and do split screen. your all new at the game so it takes forever to die.

one thing that i really like is that its not instant death if you crash into a wall or mountain. it gives you a chance to get used to the flying controls. in other flying games i always used to suicide just from crashing.

I've had my 360 for about a year and I love it! I just recently got onto Xbox live and it really expands the playing experience.

Honestly though, my current favorite is good 'ol reliable Street Fighter II Hyper over Xbox live. The transfer looks amazing and it's CRAZY fun to play people online!

omg me, my dad and my two brothers used to play goldeneye like 24/7. We had tournys going forever. I'm not a huge gamer but that and super mario kart top my list lol....i know sounds kinda lame with the plethora of games out now but back then thats what was up

But to stay on topic...I voted 360 because I recently took my bros and put it in my room and Ic an't stop playin it. Probably a bad idea cuz I can't get any studying or anything finished in the house now

I had an N64 once. I then got hooked to my cousin's FF7 and PSX. Traded in my N64 and got a PSX, FF7, yellow memory card. Been a PS guy ever since. God I love that game...
