i got the 360 elite like 2 weeks ago, I had the ps3 and took that crap back because madden 08 looked better on my ps2...and PS3 feels like a psp on my TV can you say W-A-C-K!

With that being said, the only game I'll be playing is madden thats why I got the 360...... madden looks amazing

Madden looks so much better on the 360 because it has literally double the frame rates.. Another situation where having a bluray based console just shows its ugly downsides yet again.

I loved playing the wii, but I think that once the initial fun factor of the controllers wore(sp) off it was more of a hassle to play games on. i have both xbox360 and ps3, i gotta said the game play on the xbox360 is faster then ps3, but the ps3 look a lot better if u have HDMI port

Just Downloaded Gran Turismo 5 Demo. PS3 > 360.

I wouldn't get too ahead of yourself in the Xbox360 finally beat out the wii though. It was due to Halo 3 that they finally outsold the wii. And I believe the xbox 360 sold about 525k units and the wii sold 517k ish so it wasn't by a lot. But I'm on your side when it comes to the xbox/ps3 debate. We will see what happens in a month when Mario Galaxy is released.

trust me im not GT fanboy, there are tons out there that are just rabid. but GT is way better than Forza.

they both suffer from problems that niether are a true simulator like they claim to be, but GT seems to get, i dont know the individualistic feeling of most of the cars. ie, its not just how fast they brake and turn and stuff, when you drive the car, they feel different from driving another car.

overall i find GT games much more immersive in the driving that the Forza games, and its why i keep coming back to my PS2 after playing games that are tons more realistic and very good on the PC.

the fact that PS2/PS3 can use certain PC Wheels is a plus too, thats gonna save me like $100 from XBOX360/Forza.

Oh, you're 100% correct. The wii has a much broader target demographic and is "fun for the whole family" so it should outsell the 360 any day of the week. I just had a buddy that picked up a wii when they came out and within a month it got to the point that it wasn't even being turned on anymore and we were back to playing on the 360.

The wii is a kick ass system, I'm just one of those people that likes to sit in one spot and geek out on a game instead of having to sit and practice my backswing for 10 minutes before I take a shot on Tiger Woods. Don't get me wrong, Tiger Woods was badass on the wii.... when you actually got your shot right. :rollseyes:

Sorry, that just bugged the hell out of me.. I would swing perfectly and it would show as the meanest slice ever hit in the history of EA games.

yeah once you mentioned a GT5 demo i figured HD wasn't the same thing but at least something similar and an idea of where they are headed with GT5 but yeah i liked what i saw. i used an integra type-r and type-r/t in the game....man did i enjoy myself

do you know by any chance if GT5 will come out for PS2? i mean cause im not ready to buy any of these consoles any time soon
