When you win a race weekend you get to choose a prize. When you dominate a race weekend (which i do with 2 races to go) you get to pick another prize. I guess I just got lucky.

I also have 700+ thousand in the bank an thats after I went broke trying to replace the GT-R as my drag car.

Even though this game is easy, I'm still going to play it again so I can drive an Si as well as other cars. If I don't win free car markers, it might make the game a little hard because I'll be strapped for cash. I won almost a million dollars worth of cars.

money is always good. I thought free repair was a waste until I started doing the High Speed races with a suspension that I couldn't get a hold of. It was so bad, I couldn't go full throttle. I totaled my car 8 times on one race against "Rio" They saved my ass.

well yeah but id still rather have a better car lol. and the speed challenges are a pain. i got a viper that i won that i use. it does pretty good

Do you use a wheel? I have a steering wheel and pedal set with force feedback. The wheel jerks all over the place. If you don't have a white nuckle grip on the thing when you hit a bump, you are totaled.

I'm so sorry. I've had a wheel and pedal set for racing games on the PC since Windows 95.

lol i never really liked them. and yes i was playing the original NFS on windows 95. i just never really felt like paying for it

get a Logitech DFP and be done with it. if you get a PS2/PS3 it works perfectly on tht too.

I got the Momo. Its old. It only has to make it through this game as I will be stepping of the PC game train (to expensive to keep up, car parts are WAY more important) and stepping on to the 360 train.

i had the momo, but then switched to the DFP with GT4.

lolz @ 360 train. consoles are more expensive than PCs in the agregate and the 360 is the most expensive of them. i honeslty cant function without my fix of RTS games so im stuck on PCs and i generally have a console as well. i know both sides very well, PCs = cheaper for sure.

You have to upgrade the PC every year just to keep up. When a Video card cost 500 bucks how is a PC cheaper than a 360? I'm giving up Starcraft 2 if I do get the 360 and a much better interface for FPS.

I need a WHOLE new PC. Its been 6 years with only a video card upgrade and 3 years since that happened. So, new mother board, ram, video card, sound card, new power supply, hard drive, dvd drive ... Its either a 360 and HD tv or a PC. I'm the only one that could use the PC. The little woman and her son has use for the TV and 360. An off the shelf PC is out of the question. They always crash. The PC i built has never crashed.

shortish answer:
your comparing top of the line PC and top of the line PC graphics with 1920x1200 resolutions and hgiher yet would be satisfied with a 1280x720 XBOX with poor anti aliasing, and would look even worse compared to PCs as the years go on. even today, the XBOX pails incomparison to even $130 graphics card such as those new Ati 3870 or something or the other. when oblivion came out a year or so ago which was hailed as being super duper tough on PC hardware side by side analsys showed the XBOX 360 version to be roughly equal to a PC equipped with a $200 (at the time 7600GT).

Finally this is all assuming you do care abotu graphics more than game play. if you really care about gameplay more than graphics, PCs can be uber cheap if you build your own and know what you doing as far as selecting hardware.

games are roughly $10-$20 more costly (NFS for example, $40 on PC, $60 on 360), with the XBOX you have to pay to get online, pay to get a wireless card.

in the end you add it all up. UNLESS you only buy store bought PCs, or a Wii, consoles are way more expensive.
