Exactly!!!!! I feel the same way. I mean...come on....us Si's are the reason the RSX is no longer in production

i love all the nfs games, although the police piss me off. my fav nfs game is underground 2, i just love the tuning aspect of it, plus the si actually sounds like a civic, unlike some other games i know, any way i am the one that said not to discuss the sims on this thread

The Civic won't be in the game. Honda has stated a while back, that they will not have their cars associated with these kind of games anymore that include street racing, and cop chases, etc.

We'll get the FG2 on Forza2 eventually, but thats because the game takes place on a track... and well there are no cop chases.

Pro Street has no street racing. its the first NFS game in 8 years not to depict anythign illeagal. its an Auto X game. another first for 8 years: damage and realistic physics. unfortunatly there will still be ricing...

word is there will be an Si but its unclear which year...the inclusion of the 2006 RSX worries me though.

i hope that this game makes a balance between Forza/GT and the *real* sim games like rFactor, Live for Speed, GTR, RBR, etc.

the only reason i like Forza and GT4 is that its the only chance i get to drive "normal road" cars in a somewhat realistic environment. but those games pail in comparison to the realism of the above mentioned games, and they end up being a dry and lifeless. hopefully Pro Street will be a game with realistic elements, but still as fun as NFS usually are.

You guys actually liked the demo? It seem kind of buggy and weak IMO compared to Underground.

its not in the main picture, but you can do both.
6 speed:

you have to use the padles for 7 speed cars though..or i supose you could map reverse to 7th..

PS3:
-pressure sensitivity on the PS controller is better, and more controllable than the XBOX's.
-Steering wheel support is MUCH better. you have all PS2 wheels, all PS3 wheels , and a small handfull of PC steering wheels to choose from. with X360 you have one semi decent logitech wheel that pails in comparison to the Logitech DFP for PS2/3.
-Graphics will probably be superior.

That's because the ps3 price drop was just a publicity stunt by sony.. The only reason they dropped the price of that model was because that model wasn't in production anymore. Pretty messed up that they made it seem like they were hooking people up if you ask me.

The ps3 might have better graphics, I'll give you that one. But that same logitech steering wheel (that you linked to above) originally came out for the 360, did it not? I've actually been talking with a friend of mine about going in halves on it so we have a kick ass controller to use every friday (aka burrito and forza day, lol).

As far as the NFS game is concerned, I'm actually excited about it myself. Although, I think that the best arcade style race game ever made was Midnight Club 2 (not dub edition) simply because the races were so fast paced and fun.. Not to mention the fact that it was the first free-roaming race game that I knew of. There were unlimited possibilities in shortcuts in that game.. Jump off of the pyramid through that building to the start line? Let's do it.

Since they're leaning more towards simulation I would hope that this will be a kick ass game.. But I guess we'll just see when it comes out.

they were hooking people up. the 60GB PS3 is the best deal out there because of the PS2 backwards compatibility. if you dont care about the backwards compatibility the 40Gb which came out yesterday is the best deal at $399. the 80GB is kind of pointless untill the 60GBS run out, but since the 60GBs still havent run out yet and the 40 is now out, whichever way you look at it, the price drop is a good deal.

no, its been designed for the PC, but also works on the PS2 and PS3. No XBOX 360 support. problem with the Xbox 360 and racing wheel support is that the 360 has no native driver support for force feedback. Force feedback has to be built into the game. what happens now is that Microsoft make a Force feedback controller...but it only works on the 2 or 3 games that support force feedback, like Forza and PGR.

for all the other games, that wheels doesnt work properly. Logitech came out with a non Force Feedback wheel that works with everything, but it doesnt have Force Feedback which is a poo poo this day in age.

Thanks for the correction on the wheel.. I honestly thought that it was compatible with the 360.
