PU had no traffic in Evolution mode, only Arcade mode and certain levels of Test Driver (such as deliveries), niether of which mode had repairs though deliveries did have damage but it was a fail if you damaged anyway.

yes and yes. if you total the car you can't race until its fixed and it is very expensive unless you have a total repair marker. as for physical damage, it does have to be repaired and also must be paid for or use a damage repair marker if you have some. the more damage the car has, the more it affects your car's performance.

O man, im the Totaled king in speed racing.

Its even more annoying when you get totaled at 98% of the raceway, lol.

Now i kno y these totaled markers come in handy.

I never had to use them in the first 20% in the game. Now if i totaled a car 5x in a row. I will quit the game and not save, so i will still have the markers i already used.

O yea if somebody needs help with wheelies, you need over 800hp and tq. Maximum Aero, and Ride Height. Make sure its a Rear Wheeler. Charger Recommended.

^no you dont. I picked the 240sx and i can do wheelies. sure they suck but i had 150k so i wanted a cheap car with alot of money for mods. sort of like my SI. lol.

he was my only real competition in the game's early stages, he drove the 240sx and I had the cobalt ss that you can choose as the prize.

and to the poster above you:

same here, it's a b!tch when you total your car near the end of those top speed races

I totaled about 4 times in a roll in those races. I just quit and now i let go of the gas a little bit if i cant see the turn.

One quick question.. Has anyone built a car that will actually compete in the wheelie competitions? I built a few cars and none of them were capable of it.. But at least in the process I ended up building a gto that hit 7's, lol.

fully built 350z - fail (I tried this one because the first competition I tried out had a g35 that won the event, wtf right?)

I'm playing an hour a day because of my little nephew that keeps bugging me. So, i'm like 30% on ps2 and 20% on pc.
I am so frustrated....
Carbon it took me one full day(18hours straight) and it was done. Completed every existing NFS game. I still can rate this one yet... Porsche was the best so far.
