looking for a ps3?

for those of you who have been trying to get a ps3. someone found out how to get one from circuit city by "hacking" into the system it tells you what stores have them in. just type in your zipcode at the bottom.

a lot of the stores in my city have them in stock
my toys r us has 20... nobody seems to want to buy it...

i personally dont have one but i want one im just waiting for some good games to come out which wont be for a few more months so im gonna wait.

I just wrote program that lets me go through the OID's one by one (with << and >> arrow buttons) to search for the Wii. The Zip and starting OID can be entered and the web page is displayed in the window. The URL name is also displayed because it contains the description of the item...

When I was @ the mall the other night Best Buy had a shit load of them in stock... I was kinda shocked at first but I guess all the hype is over, pretty sad actually. People getting shot and stuff over them and selling them for like 3 grand and a month later they're all over the shelves. Wal-Mart also had a bunch of them. The Wii is still outta stock every where though.

The PS3 is all over my area. Found 2 at Wal-mart and 2 more at Target. Weak! It was harder to get ahold of Guitar Hero than it was to find a PS3.

I have all 3 too. I need a girlfriend. My wife disagrees. Having all 3 is nice because you always have something to play and some people like to have toys. Just like someone who always mods out their cars could be in need of a girlfriend. Guys like their toys.

Look harder for the Wii. I picked up 2 of them in one day last week, not including the one I picked up when it came out. Make sure you pick up a nunchuck if you ever see one around because they are by far the hardest thing to find.

My dad bought a 60GB PS3 the other day for blu-ray movies. We also have 2 Wii's (my sister has the one I got for myself and my dad has one also), I also have the good xbox 360 myself.

Wii's are all over now too...just at wal-mart last week getting my PS3 and they had 10 wii's

I prefer graphics and better games over the wii's cartoony games

I haven't seen a Wii in stores besides the one I bought..........only saw controllers once, and I didn't buy one (but I should've bought them all).......the only thing NOT sold out for Wii is the games.

Target guy said they will release more Wii Sunday, January 21. Toys R us seems to be getting them every week or so but sells out. At least the wait seems to be over for PS3 buyers.

Finally got a Wii at Target this morning. My daughter and I were there at a little after 2 am and it started snowing around 3:30 but I was prepared.
Turned out that there were plenty Wii for all who were there before 8 am but I wasn't taking a chance this time. What we didn't realize was that the big competition was going to be for extra controllers and nunchucks. Once we got tickets at 7:15 we were told we could come back between 8 and 10 to get the Wii. We ate at McD and got back in line (this time we were about #15 in line instead of #2).
The accessories (extra controllers, nunchucks, and Zelda) were 1st come 1st serve for people with tickets. We got the last controller, and nunchucks sold out a couple of people ahead. From there we zipped over to Meijer grocery store (lesser-known Wii seller) and picked up the 2nd nunchuck and Happy Feet.
Thank God this whole ordeal is over. Oh wait... now I have to find a DS Lite!!!
