It was BS though, one family bought 3 (the Dad, the Mom, and the 7 year old) which is crap but they allowed it since it was three seperate transactions. I'm to the point now that I'm mad at my kids for not asking for something you can actually buy. I will NOT pay over retail on E-Bay even if it comes with Jessica Alba. X-mas sucks, more this year than usual.
I heard 8 out of 10 PS3's have been returned for problems, and Sony is charging for the fix. Surely this can't be true!!! Anyone else hear this? I don't want one anyway, but thats crazy. I J U S T N E E D T O F I N D A Wii!!!!
A lot of people don't want to pay more than retail, but when you factor in all the time spent waiting, driving, gas money, and effort put into it sometimes it's just easier to pay a little more and not stress about it.

The cheapest Wii that I sold on Ebay went for @ $340 while the most expensive one went for $610. I've even gotten a few for my co-workers and they offer to pay me $50-$80 more (@$330-$350 a system) as they don't want to deal with the crowds, waiting in line, getting up early, etc. The funny thing is that they hit me up since they know I sell them on Ebay. None of them ask me to sell it to them for the retail price as they know it's a pain to get so they pay more for having me "hunt" one down.

I enjoy all these PS3 and Wii hunts!

Oh and about the PS3 having problems where did you hear this? Mine and a few of my friend's systems work fine. I've heard of a few sporadic issues of overheating or freezing, but not much. They seem to be fairly isolated issues. The one complaint that I hear the most is about the controller losing connection.

I still haven't heard nearly as many issues as the ones that plagued the Xbox. I remember hearing about those in the news alot last year.

My old Xbox came with a crappy DVD drive that went bad after a year or so (continual "dirty disk error"). Ordered a modified Sanyo PC DVD drive from eBay that loads faster plus no more errors. Piece of cake to replace.
Also, went to Meijer (big food/retail store) early this morn because they get shipments of this and that all thru the week and a customer said there was a small pile of Wii's just sitting there until around 3 pm one day! Lady that works there said they won't get any more before Xmas and they only get a few at a time but they sell within an hr.
I gotta face it. This past Sunday was the last chance and I blew it!!!! Oh dear God why didn't I get out there at midnight!!!!! AAhhhhhh!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm over it now.

PS3 problems you have been hearing.. you have got some wrong sources. I have the PS3 also it works super duper fine!... as goes for the wii, i got mine last sunday.. waited in line for 4 hours at toysrus. i got one, i was number 20 something and they had 35 when they announced it at like 7:30 where they opened at 8am. i was there like around 4 something in the mourning and it was raining. Sorry to hear the problem you went through to try to make your kids happy.. as of right now if your still lookin for a Wii, you wont be able to find one til next yr.. ebay is your best bet or someone sellin it to you.. I would sell you mine, but i cant i love the Wii and the PS3.. lol.. played the Wii 5hrs straight no problem same goes for the PS3. I had guest over and we were bombin it down.. no issue whats so ever.

Any news on when/where the next batch of Wii's will bees?
On eBay there are around 25 selling per hour at about $400 but I don't want to buy a $250 system for $400.
