i've got my pre order

and correct me if im wrong, but i'm almost 100% positive that the $249.99 is USD while its $279.99 CDN. these two prices are for JUST the console.
you still gotta buy the games, extra controller etc.. which will probably get up to $400+ easily.

It comes with a free disk of demo'ish games I think.

Target is giving $20 gift card if you purchase 3 software titles (pays for a nunchuk attachment, I guess). System + extra controller + Zelda + Madden 07 + CoD3 = bye bye paycheck.

Man I'm debating whether to get Zelda for the cube or buy a Wii and get Zelda for that because it's going to kick so much more ass =/

I say go for the latter. You'll end up regretting the decision when you know that the Wii version is so much better!

There's gonna be a $600 package for the Wii but no one, not even gamestop/ebgames know what's included in it yet.

the cube is going for like $100 CDN
and if you were to do a trade in you'd probably get 40 - 60 depending on where you go
EB games is a rip off if you have one, try going to a pawn shop or something, you might get a better deal

so you might as well keep it haha

He will get more like 20 USD at most in trade in, so i just say keep it or give it to one of your little brothers or relatives..

there will be a better chance with a wii than with the ps3, sony rushed and therefore don't have enough to fill the demands.

people that dont get it at launch probably wont get it till the new year cause of christmas and such.

Target gets Wii demo machines early next week (Sunday or Monday) so I'll stop by and check them out. They had the PS3 demo machine already with some motocross type game and the graphics look incredible (of course). However, it didn't feel right playing it without rumble and it was tethered to the kiosk, so I couldn't test out the accelerometers and such. L2 and R2 buttons have been improved a bit, but still a little weird because of the new controller design.

Yea I'll keep my cube, hell I still have my N64 and that is a piece lol.
If any of you guys have a PS3 pre-order you should definately put it on eBay as you're almost guaranteed to get double your money back

All the Wii preorders are sold out here, as is Zelda

I so want those two items......and Trauma Center (which should be easier to find). I can see Wii being sold out for months as well

Just go to a store that does not allow pre-oders, that way you will get one for sure if you get there early..

I pre-ordered a Wii and Zelda from my local EB Games. Their doing a Midnight launch for Zelda and whoever has a Wii pre-order can get their Wii at the same time. The excitement is killing me. A new Zelda is always a big deal. Zelda as a luanch title is freakin unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
