I am very happy with Xbox 360 and the HD add-on. The HD movies PQ are beautiful. Sorry, I don't play game but I have several racing game. It look very good on it.

Ohh, my bad. Thought u were talking bout the 360.

I heard that the PS3 bundle comes with the 60gigger, one extra sixaxis controller and a game.

I had the choice between both the 360 and the ps3 both are in stores around where i live. I went with the ps3 because a couple things bothered me about the 360. 1st you have to pay to play online and 2nd they suggest you buy that cooling fan 20.00 you pay for a design flaw they made in the system gotta luv microsoft.

whoever told you to buy the cooling fan is an idiot, it has been proven to actually cause more of a problem than help. they released a cooling fan for the ps3 too, so does the ps3 have a design flaw too?????? you don't even know what your talking about. yes you do have to pay for the online service on the 360 but its like 50 a year, and xbox live is 100x better than the psn interface. just so you know i have the ps3 and the 360 and the ps3 runs Hotter than the 360.

Well my first X-Box 360 gave me the three red flashing lights last night and is toast. I bought it six months ago from bestbuy and like a jackass I lost the recipt. Am I screwed? Any help would be appreciated.

Best Buy can usually look up your receipt, but don't know how far back. If you got the warranty they can look it up with your address or phone number.

One thing I'm curious about is out of all the 10 million or whatever XBOX 360s sold: How many are repeat customer's or replacements for those with the "Ring of Death"?

im on my 5th get the warrenty. its worth it i love xbox 360 bt lets face it they have problems they are a microsoft product.

On my fourth console as well...all died from 3 Red Lights of Death.

To all those concerned, I would not hesitate to purchase the extended warranty. A few bucks for a lot of peace of mind goes a long way...

Actually, esx005's 360 did that when he first got it. He was going to send it off but he called customer services and they offered a wierd little fix. It was something to the effect of turn on the xbox, when the 3 lights are flashing take off the hard drive, turn off the xbox, replace the hard drive, and turn it back on. Now his xbox will do that every about 75th time it's turned on and he just turns it off and back on - good to go.

As for the xbox 360 thing said above (the cooling fan thing), yeah bro.. you were getting told a load of b/s. I waited in line to get mine and it has yet to malfunction on me one time, and it hasn't overheated a single time. That's impressive with me because if I'm playing fight night or something and I need to go run arrands, I just leave the game paused and turn off the controller. Come back 3-4 hours later and it's still running just fine. I play it for another couple of hours and still no problems.

I think it's funny that all the playstation fanbois knock the xbox 360 for the cooling issue.. it seems that they've all forgotten the release of the ps2 was the most unsuccessful and problematic release for a console to date. Yeah it's cool that the ps3 is hd straight out of the box, that's a huge one up for playstation.. but I would rather have my xbox anyday. I had 2 ps3's and sold them both. A friend of mine bought one and the first day he played it it froze on him about 30 minutes into play.. then every time after that. He took it back and got his money back and bought a 360 with a nice chunk of change to spare.

I got my xbox 360 1 month after it came out. Not 1 problem to date still runns like a champ and was even dropped from a small very small height.

MS takes care of their customrs. They give 1 year replacements from the factory! I am an xbox aficionado. I've been there since day 1 with the original, i was on live since day 1 .

Well actually sony is a monster , Since the release of PS1 and PS2 They have sold collectively over 220 million consoles as oppose to the xbox 1 and 2 which have sold maybe 32-34 milion according to an article i read in jan or feb this yr.
Honestly the wii will outsell the 360 and ps3 because of the price, again once sony starts roling out the good games the ps3 consoles will sart to outsell and outdo xbox

First off, I pretty much like all of the next-gen consoles equally. I've had a 360 for a year and a half, bought a Wii (but haven't played it yet, don't want people in my apartment playing it), and will eventually get a PS3 once the price drops and/or good games come out. So I'm not trying to start a console war.

As far as next gen game systems go, the 360 will most likely remain on top for some time. They are still selling at a faster rate compared to the PS3 (due to the games and pricing). The Wii is selling quite well due to the price, but how long will it take before it can actually make up for the lost time that the Xbox 360 has been out for. Will it catch up, maybe, I can't predict the future. The 360 also has some good games coming out in its future line up (one of which is the overhyped Halo 3 which will definitely help increase sales of the system).

BTW: I've had my XBox 360 for about a year and a half and haven't had too many problems other than the occasional game freezing up on me (about, 4-5 times). *knock on wood* This is after countless hours of playing Gears of War and the many other games I have. Sometimes have the 360 running for nearly half the day. Man, that was a pretty sad winter vacation...

I would not recommend the aftercooler as it is believed to actually increase problems rather than mitigate them.
