I'm going to wait at least 6 months or so after they launch to decide if I'll get the PS3. I just bought the Xbox 360 and waited until the first batches were out before buying (due to crash issues, overheating, etc). I'm not completely safe with this later build of the Xbox 360 but I have a Niko Cooler fanning the hardware and a 2 year Microsoft extended warranty.
I also want to see the final reviews once the PS3 is released that can shed some light as to it's main advantages over the Xbox 360. If the advantages are great (in terms of graphics, performance, features) I'll just Craigslist the Xbox 360 (Premium edition, accessories and games))for maybe $300 and put that into the PS3. So far, the 360 is loads of fun for me on my Plasma. I used to game on PC's but the cost to upgrade hardware such as the Graphics card, PC Processor, etc have taken a toll on me. |

I'ma wait till Sony works out the kinks on the PS3. Besides, I'm trying to sell my 36" flat screen Toshiba tv so I can help save up for a 42" LCD HDTV, Sharp. I need something with 1080P before I buy my PS3 cause thats how high the resolution on the PS3 games are. I can't play MGS4 untill I get an HDTV.

I've been happy with my PS3 since December, although the lack of games is frustrating. I still play Resistance a lot though.
The last quarter of this year is when we'll see the bulk of new "good" games, I can't wait 'til then. For now my PS3 is mostly used for Resistance and watching Blu Ray movies. |

Well, I do have a little bit to add to this.. After 2 years or so of my xbox 360 treating me well, it finally broke. If I don't get the "ring of doom" then it will turn on and load to only sounds. It glitched out for a few weeks before this happened.. I'd be playing a game and it would lose blue (component) and come back, or would freeze and turn back on without a problem. Now it's dead though.
I contacted a few places and it seems it will be cheaper to just send it off to get fixed rather than replace it with a refurb'd xbox, so I'll be doing that as soon as I have a little cash to spare. It just happened to happen on the worst of days too.. I had surgery that morning, rested for a while, woke up and bought Forza 2, put it in, game loaded, xbox broke. Damnit. All in all, I still would rather have my xbox (well, a working one at least) than a ps3. I've had a couple of friends pick up ps3's and they've all said that it freezes like no other, not to mention the selection of games still sucks. I'll still probably get one waaay down the line, but I'm definitely in no rush here. |

The picture quality with a good HD feed can be breath taking. Discovery HD theatre really shows it off. I only wish it had more than 2 HDMI inputs 4 would of been killer. Also the piano black finish though sharp looking (pun intended) is a dust magnet so get a Swiffer duster and keep it near by.. |

Sweet man!. I like how I read or hear so many good things about "SHARP" LCD HDTV's being the best other than I believe Samsung?. I love to watch Baseball games on TV and like to play Video games so I'm looking forward to getting this 42" Sharp Tv. I have a 36" Flat screen Tv from Toshiba now, it's not an HDTV or anything. it's just some regular Tv I picked up 2 years ago at Best Buy for 800 dollars back then. I love it but It's time to get an HDTV
. So i'm going to sell my 36" Tv for about $550 or so. I got alot of saving up to do in order to get that bad boy |
