Twm SS

Hi guys, is this problem happening to TWM SS as well?
06+Civic CorSport Stainless Steel Short Shifter

I don't mean to compare both brand, just wondering if TWM has the same problem too.
Thanks

Nope, haven't heard of any TWM SS owners having this problem. I know for a fact that I don't have that problem. There was a good bit of room left in between the base and the bottom of the shifter.

Having it fourth means it will be pushing the stalk toward the front of the car, away from the base. I take it you mean 3rd and neutral?

I think that is only on a few cars...I know with my comptech I don't have that issue. If I had bought a twm ss and had that happen, I'd just take a dremel to whatever it was hitting and bam...no more problems

No.. I mean, when I shift it from neutral to 3rd gear (to the front), it's totally fine. But when I want to shift to 4th gear (any gear shift to the back, just like reverse), it hits the base. It happened to 2 cars I installed.

Hello csxian,

We didn't get any feedback about our short shifter hitting the base when shifted in 2 - 4 or reverse..!

Hope it clears things out...!

Best Regards,

Simon

my ss will hit the base (bottom part of the shifter lever assembly) when i shift into 2nd, 4th, and 6th as well as reverse... i took some time to file down the base so i could create extra space. boy what a world of difference from feeling it hit the base (causing more force required to put into gear) to having it filed down and no resistance from the base to put it in gear....
