Price:
-'06-'07 short shifter: $69.00 USD -'06-'07 shifter + base bushings: $88.95 USD -'06 + cable bushings: $97.95 USD -'06 + base + cable bushings: $117.90 USD -'07 + cable bushings: $99.95 USD -'07 + base + cable bushings: $119.90 USD i have an 07 si.. should i get: '06-'07 shifter + base bushings: $88.95 USD or '07 + base + cable bushings: $119.90 USD whats the better buy... does it make a big difference!? |

Hello,
Most of the short shifters we sell are sold with the bushing combo which is both the base bushings and cable bushings. Neither bushing kit is mandatory, however installation of the bushings along with the short shifter results in a greatly improved shift feel over stock. The shift assembly comes from the factory mounted on 3 rubber bushings which flex a great deal and create unwanted flex. The shifter base bushings we offer replace these rubber bushings with solid aluminum bushings. This results in a more direct and solid shift feel since the shift assembly is now solidly mounted on aluminum base bushings instead of rubber base bushings. I bought the Shifter+Base/Cable bushings and haven't looked back. And I kept the stock bushings in for about a month, and noticed an immediate difference when i stopped bein lazy and installed the base and cable bushings.. Big diff..
