Nylon Insert For shift knob

Today I was unscrewing my knob and i messed up the thread on the nylon insert... is there any way that i can get a new one? thank you.. worst thing is i have no idea where my stock shift knob is right now.. so right now im knob-less

edit: forgot to metnion twm shift knob

ok... i found it $5 for the part but shipping is 14 bucks.. brings it out to $20 for a small little piece of plastic. heres a link for reference...

how does that work. is that to stop the know from sitting too low? or do u screw that thing on ur shifter, then screw the knob on to it?

you screw the insert onto your shifter and then the shift knob on to the nylon adapter. theres threading inside the insert and threading on the outside.. since i work where theres a machine shop, i'm going to find a screw with the same outside diameter and threading. then i'm going to drill a hole in the bottom and use a tap to make the thread on the inside.. better than paying 20 bucks for something like this... i can't believe they charge $15 for shipping on something like this. its ridiculous
