All 8th Civic folks NEED the TWM SS+Bushings
WOW pretty much sums it up.
I had anticipated how much shorter the shifts would feel with the SS, but I never would've imagined how much better the shifts felt. The stick doesn't feel slushy anymore, it feels rock solid. Snick, snick, snick as you row through the gears. Probably the best money i've spent on my car so far. The kit's instructions were dead on, total installation for the cable bushings, shifter base bushings and short shifter was probably 30 minutes at most. This is without a doubt the way it should have come from the factory. Hard to believe something that costs so little could make such a massive difference. Had a couple of my buddies with 8th gens take her out for a spin and they just gushed about it. Highly recommended. Couple pics (kinda crappy): Thanks to the guys at TWM for such an awesome addition to my FG2

Had a chance to really test it, drove the car out to Fairmont Hot Springs from Calgary this week and i'll tell you, i've never had so much fun driving Route 93 through the Kootenay River Valley. Coming down into Radium Hot Springs, I was hitting the corners and rowing through the gears. So awesome! My car isn't really anything special. Needs wheels and the HFP kit heh. Looking through my pics, I just realized I don't have a really decent full one since I installed my HID retrofit. I'll snag some soon after I polish it and post some up. It's coming along ![]()

BOT, I have the Comptech SS & it does make a difference but I'll be waiting for a full replacement like the BCSS that I had on my EP3. |
