Getting SS and Bushings.

Started to move with the modding of my FG2 and started small with the shifter and bushings. Should I expect anything when installing (I checked the DIY) but anything in particular.

when you rip the blue cap off the shifter make sure to pull a towel down over the abbess that is your center console. When I ripped mine off it went flying and took a couple hours to find it deep in some hole.

Ok now for the full review.

Installation: Without a doubt the instructions were on key and the kit was very very well presented. Heck when i opened the box i was like SWEET presentation.
I have to say please take all the recommendation by that guide, The blue cap of doom is quite annoying but definitely bag it. The cable bushing install guide was pretty good also. Thing about the guides is the picture clarity needs a little improvement.

Driving: Now heres the fun part. I have to say an amazing improvement over stock. The shifts are now so much more crisp and firm. I havent gone for a long drive yet but from what i have driven a very great improvement. Like said before missing shifts is a lot more difficult now.

I gotta thank TWM for their great products seriously makes the car a lot better.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the short shifter and bushings, we've had tons of great feedback since we released these products.

Have a great day :)

Right now you can save about $23 if you order the short shifter, base bushings and cable bushings together. If you would like to sign up to our newsletter at www.twmperformance.com you will be entitled to a 5% discount on any of our products simply for signing up as well.

Also, if you are a student or in the military you can check out this link to save 10%: TWM student and military discounts.

We're not scheduled to have any sales bigger than the current one any time soon.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

What about someone that just got out of the military and whose spouse just went in? I could have her order it if I had to, but I was just wondering if I could get the discount myself without going through the hassle.
