Have any of you guys noticed that on some days the shifter is extremely crisp and feels just perfect, but on other days it is more fussy and notchy (especially 6th and R)?

WOW AMAZING COMBO... I ordered the ss, base bushings, and the brass bushings. Its greal together. Since this is my first 6 speed, I'm still a little new on the shifting feel. It seems as though shifting from 1st to 2nd is still somewhat long compared to my old K series Accord... But its not as long as stock I can vouch for that. And as far as that little blue ball boot on the end of the shifter. Installers beware it chips very easy. As far as everything else great kit. I'm in love now I'm saving up for another weighted shift knob, because school has broke my account. Thanks a lot You Guys ROCK on another level.

Okay once again TWM saves the day in my orginal post I stated that the nylon bushing is easily cracked.Since, I cracked mine, to be on the safe side, I thought I would mosey up to Honda and buy one. NOT SO!! After the @$$holes and the counter chuckled and asked how the hell did I break that. They searched the computer and found you can't buy just the nylon bushing, you have to buy the whole shifter. Since they already had pissed me off I made there day a living hell. N E way I called TWM up and the best customer service I've dealt with in a long time prevailed. They had the nylon bushing in stock. A++++++ for TWM great company... I wish everything could be this simple.

I installed my M1 Abram Shift Knob, short shifter and base/cable bushings. I'm a little cut up from installing the bushings, but it's a great product. Thanks for the quick delivery too

Luke, will TWM ever go with lightweight knobs? Or something slightly lighter than what you currently offer? I think it'd be nice to have that adjustability you people offer with the NTIS system coupled with a lightweight knob for those of us who prefer them. My Spoon Ti knob is slightly TOO low, and there's no real way I can make it taller, like where I had my Type R.

<=== this guy, for example.

Hello Izzy,

Thank you for your interest in our products.

TWM is actually preparing the website right now to make our newest addition to the product line available to purchase . Lightweight aluminum shift knobs which will be available shortly :). The models we will launch with are the Type-R and Classic model shift knobs. The aluminum shift knobs are very lightweight

We have been getting great feedback on the NTIS, the adjustability really helps you get the "perfect feel". NTIS is a feature we really like on all of our knobs.

You can also sign up to our newsletter to be updated about all our newest sales and products. Signing up to the newsletter also provides 5% discount on all of our products. You can sign up to the newsletter at the TWM Performance home page. All you have to do is fill in your e-mail address.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or feedback.

Thank you,

Luke

Hmm, the website connected directly to the homepage. I'm really interested too!

Sadly, I probably won't be buying another shift knob soon. (I'm picky, and have gone through three, each with their own benefits!) At least, until I know what car I'm getting next.

well first i purchase your ss, and m1 knob
then i puchased the bushing kit.

and i must say WOW, the bushing kit helped my car so much. It use to be a chore to get it into gear, especially when driving hard, now its smooth and crisp.

I couldnt be more happy. Thanks for a great product, that actually made a difference.
Def. not a waste of money.
