Did the package look like it had been opened or tampered with. In any case, don't worry we'll send out a replacement right away, I'll check your PM now...

I apologize for the inconvenience, we'll get this sorted out for you right away.

Thanks,

Kevin

OK, it must have been an oversight. We're sending out a replacement today. UPS says you'll have it by Tuesday, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Excellent, it's nice the package arrived so quickly. The locktite is for the bolt that secures the short shifter on the shaft. Just put a drop of blue locktite on the bolt before tightening it on the stock shaft.

Thanks,

Frank

I would assume so, its not like its hurting anyone, also its in the instructions, any reason you don't want to apply it?

Hey, just put on my ss and m1 abrams knob last night....wow! I love it, completely worth it, straight forward, easy install. I was a little worried about getting just an adapter, instead of a whole new unit like I've gotten for previous cars, but man did i love it! Thanks!

Well, today I just received my TWM Short Shifter, Cable Bushings and Base Bushings.

I have yet to install them due to waiting for the 3rd gear fix, but the quality of the packaging and all that came with it was very very impressive.

It came w/ instructions w/ one how to install everything as well as an Allen wrench and some applicant to keep the screw from unscrewing. I also received three stickers too.

I have ordered several things online, but this is by far the best packaging as well as informative information containing to the product that I have every received. Having to do with auto parts or not.

TWM you have severely impressed me in this aspect of the business field. I just can't wait how you will impress me with the performance of these fine products. I really cannot say enough.

You are an outstanding company and I wish you great success.

Thanks for the great feedback guys, it really makes the hard work we put into our products and customer service feel like it has paid off :)

I'm very pleased to hear that everyone is enjoying our products, and also that a great number of the members on the forum have taken advantage of our new pre-installed shifter pivot cup with their short shifter orders.

maximus20895: I'm sure that you will be very impressed with the products once they are installed. The packaging and instructions are great, but the shifter is better :)

Thanks again,

Kevin

Hey, i have a question, while i was reading instructions, my friend put loctite acually into the short shifter, and mounted it on. Just being cautious, is that bad? its in place and its all the short shifter is all the way in, i was just wondering since my friend loctite the short shifter on, would it be bad or anything, thanks

Hi brzrkr626,

It is not a bad thing, it won't break anything on the shifter or on the adapter since it's blue loctite. However, I would suggest you to remove the adapter now and reinstall it without the loctite inside the adapter. If ever you need to remove it in a couple of years, it will probably be easier that way.

Before removing the adapter, heat it quickly with a heatgun or even only with a lighter. Once it is removed, clean the pivot ball on the shifter itself and the inside of the adapter so there is no loctite left. Install it back with loctite on the screw only and you will be good to go!
